so yesterday, one of my favorite YouTubers was recently detained in Dubai. the reason why she was detained really gets me upset because its not fair to her. she was held in Dubai for being transgender. the police found out that she was a transgender and told her she couldnt go in to the country. now it doesn't sound that bad (even though this is already bad enough because it isnt fair) until you hear this. one of the laws in Dubai is that men cannot dress or imitate women (or something like that) or else they will be sent to prison for 8 years or more. now that is the main reason why she was detained (i think) and it really makes me upset. bc she isnt a MAN impersonating a WOMAN. she is a WOMAN not a MAN. it honestly is just so upsetting that they would even try and do that to her. hours later, she was finally able to leave (thank the lord). i wasnt there with her but i could just imagine what must've bee going through her mind. people just need to accept it and see that she is a woman. i honestly dont care if its a law or rule or whatever. because she went through all the surgeries to become a woman. and for you to just go and reject her because shes a "man impersonating a woman" is just awful. im extremely glad she was able to leave.

i honestly dont understand how people even have the thought of commenting on her videos and claiming that she is not a woman and shes a man. umm excuse me, no just leave. you are irrelevant if you even think of commenting that. i've been watching her videos since she started posting about her surgeries. i remember she would always be in pain but she would look on the bright side because she finally got to be who she wanted to be and wasnt afraid to show it anymore. gigi is the most optimistic person i've ever known. i mean, i dont know her personally, but in almost all her videos, she has such a positive vibe and never fails to make me laugh at something she did or said. there were times that she did have bad days but she still looked on the brighter side. im just glad she's able to bash those haters down (-;
this was just my opinion kinda ig. i think it was very unfair for Dubai to do that to her. its 2016 people. cmon. get over it.
