A few weeks later... Summer's P.O.V
I rolled my eyes glancing at them. Me and Nathan haven't been hanging for a while BECUZ of his "new" best friend.
It hurts really...like we have just gotten close and it feels like he replaced me.
Anyways the girls name is Lucy. She's tall, tan skinned, skinny blonde. She's quite pretty tbh. Don't know her personality cuz haven't even tried to talk to her. apparently she's everywhere and cool with them.
I ignored them and noticing this was the 3rd time she sat in my seat at the lunch table I simply left to the garden yard of the school. While leaving I heard Bryan saying "Nathan that's um Summer's seat".
I ran quicker out BECUZ I didn't want to hear the response. I ran into the garden and saw 1 guy sitting there. He glanced up at me as I ran in.
It was an awkward stare. Then after about a second or I spoke. "Don't mind if I sit here", I asked. He shook his head as I sat next to him.
I took one more glance at him before turning my eyes back to my phone. He looked quite familiar. He was muscular, had dark brown hair , and bright blue eyes. And oh god damn his jawline is like god carved it for him. Did I mention his cheekbones.
What if he models?
He then looked up at me and said "Leo". Leo? Ohhhh that must be his name. I mentally slapped myself and quickly responded "Summer". He smiled. It's actually a bigger high school then you'd expect I feel like I see new people everyday
Oh his smile was the cutest thing ever. "So um I usually come around here to think...no ones usually here but what's on ur mind", he spoke. He's voice was so soothing and deep. I mean I did want to rant, I bit my lip and started blabbing
"Well long story short this guy I was close with replaced me with this girl and well she kinda took my seat again and well...I guess I'm here now". He looked at me "wait Nathan's girl", he asked.
I raised my eyebrow and said "Erm we aren't well dating ...". He chuckled "yeah everyone's knows but like ...y'all are always together so it just happens so", he responded.
Well guess everyone calls me Nathan's girl. "Well I'm not Nathan's "girl" anymore", I said pouting. "Nah he'll come around", Leo said.
I shrugged. Then I realized I got a new schedule BECUZ of the new semester and this guy was rlly cool but what would be cooler is if we had classes together. "Hey can I see your schedule" he asked. "OMF U just read my mind" I said.
He chuckled as I handed him my paper. "Well I have Erm all hours except the last one with you", he said. "Rlly that's cool" I said smiling way to hard.
Then the bell rang meaning lunch is unfortunately over. "Well then let's go to class Leo", I said acting like a kid. He nodded and following along.
As we were walking in the hallway he said something that made me laugh so I laughed out loud making the whole hallway stare at me. I slowly blushed as Leo started laughing along.
Soon the weirdest thing happened. Nathan approached me say "hey". I stood there with a blank face. "The response would be hey", he said. I shook my head and then said "um hey". I noticed Leo standing there awkwardly.
"Leo you could walk to class DW bout me". He nodded and then winked when Nathan wasn't looking. I BURSTED out laughing which confused Nathan
"Um I wanted to apologize for Lucy sitting in your seat", he said not looking sorry at all which triggered my anger. "For the 3rd time" I said sternly. He noticed my anger and stood there speechless. I just continued walking to class.
I had Nathan in all my classes unfortunately. Lucy was in none with both of us it was only lunch and free period.
I walked into the class glancing over the seats. Usually I sat in the front next to Nathan. I glanced seeing Leo in the back. How have I not noticed this kid before ? I sat next to him just to trigger Nathan. He smiled cheekily.
I watched as Nathan walked in surprised that I wasn't in his usual spot. He walked over to me and said "that's not your seat". I ignored him as he got the point I was mad at him.
He then walked back to his seat where I whispered "why don't u let Lucy sit there too". He heard me and turned around. I looked away.
Nathan's P.O.V
(Starting from Lunch)
"Don't mind if I sit here it'll be a quick second" Lucy said. As I nodded. She sat in Summer's spot. She then started talking about what we did yesterday. I listened to her as I watched Summer walk in.
I watched as she glanced at Lucy and got annoyed. It's not a big deal she's just sitting there for a second?
•SKIPPING THE REST•
"Why don't u let Lucy sit there too", I heard her whisper. I turned around and saw her look away. I turned around thinking things through as the teacher was saying some shit.
That's y she's mad.... We haven't pranked each other in like 3 weeks. I mean I didn't have time to set a prank anyway I was hanging with Lucy all week..... AHHH that's why...I'm such a douche. I do miss her she's kinda more interesting then Lucy. Lucy is a cheerleader at our school we started hanging out after my first football game.
It isn't anything major. I don't like her I just had fun hanging with her.
I then got out of my chair and walked out of class hearing the teacher say "SKYE DETENTION". Figured.
Summer's P.O.V
This was the class I didn't have Leo in. It was quite boring yet my last class. Finally as the bell rang I ran to my locker.
Quickly putting stuff in. Suddenly a card flew out saying "meet me at my practice ? -N". Hm should I? ..... "You should", Jasmine said.
I looked up at her "but he's been a jerk". "Ik but he's been worse maybe he wants to apologize give him a chance S", Jasmine said.
"Ugh why do u have to be right all the time". She smiled cheekily and ran off somewhere.
I then waited next to my locker till it was 2:30 (when Nathan's practices start) and then went to the field. I glanced around seeing the football players In a line and not scattered.
Huh? I then saw they were holding something up. I ran closer and saw each guy (Justin, Bryan, Luke, Kevin, Derek) and also some other players holding up a letter that spelled "I A M S O R R Y". At the end I saw Nathan.
He bite his lip holding flowers. I smiled. I went to Nathan as he spoke "I'm sorry Kins..I realized what I did and I was such a douche". I smiled and hugged him.
I could tell he was surprised but he hugged back as I took the flowers . "Who knew Nathan could apologize and with flowers " I said glancing at the beautiful flowers. And then Once again Cher (the one who posted a pic of them saying #otp) passed by saying "Who knew. Girl could change the Nathan Skye".
