Prom Day, Summer's P.O.V
I glanced at myself in the mirror. "You look gorgeous babe", Jasmine said also staring at my reflection. I smiled yet still felt sad. Why is it that I wanted Nathan to take me to prom so bad? We kissed yet never addressed it and I don't even think he likes me, I thought he did till Stupid Lucy came along. I mean if I'm not lying she is pretty ..
I had curled my hair and had a light but beautiful amount of makeup on. My dress hugged my curves perfectly and was a maxi dress. I felt really beautiful and elegant. The plan was to go to dinner, Me, Leo, Lucy, Kevin, Bryan, Jasmine, Justin, Luke, Nathan, and Derek. Luke, Derek, and Bryan hasn't invited their dates to our dinner though I'm not sure why? It was probably sowmthing about them not being comfortable I guess. Also Justin has asked Jasmine to prom, the wait was worth it he did it in the cutest possible way. He had almost half the school involved in it.
The doorbell ringed as me and Jasmine walked downstairs. "Ohhhh my girlssss", my mom squealed taking pictures. I laughed along with Jasmine. Then we opened the door to see Leo and Justin with flowers. That's hella cuteeee. Leo was looking at me up and down and I admit it caused my cheeks to turn the most possible red they could. My mother wanted to take more pictures and made us stand with our dates. "Wow u look beautiful ", Leo whispered into my ear.
I looked up at him and blushed really hard smiling. I took this time to look at him. He was wearing a suit with a bow tie that was quite cute and stylish I admit. " you don't look so bad", I said with a wink as he chuckled. Jasmine and Justin had their own couple cheesy convos as we walked to the car.
The car ride was kinda funny. We were blasting music and singing to throwbacks really loud. And when we finally got there I bet my voice was completely gone. We walked in and everyone was already there looking really gooooodd I mean it is prom after all. I glanced around till my eyes met Nathan's who I mean I'm not tryna pick myself up or anything but he was kinda staring. But man Nathan in a tux wow he was absolutely handsome. No wonder why all these girls gush over him
I let a small smile which he turned away too.... that was kinda rude. I shrugged it off and went to sit next to him and to my luck LMAO Leo decided to sit next to me. I mean why wouldn't he, he is my date I guesss * rolls eyes
"You look good ", I said to Nathan. He let a fake smile and nodded. What's his problem? I mean I never usually compliment guys soooo. I rolled my eyes and turned to Leo since he wasn't ignoring me * cough* cough as we started talking about some random subject.
Nathan's P.O.V
I was still damn upset. How the hell does she go to prom with this random kid she just met ? And I'm over here thinking I had something going on. Why would I ever try. I can watch the laughing from the side of my eye which made me even more mad.
" I have to go ", I announced to Justin. I felt Summer turn around. Well I have her attention now. "I have to go pick up Lucy", I lied through my teeth ( I told Lucy to meet me at the school) Justin nodded as I got up towards the door. Summer was still watching me but turned away as soon as I looked at her.
Heyyy!! It's been long :( I haven't been on here since forever and I'm sorryy I don't even know if I can finish this book but I'm trying!! I know this is short but I promise to do a much longer one after.. hope you like it xx
