"Leave him alone!" A boy yelled before flinging himself at the first bully.

"What the-" The boy smirked before chomping on the hand that was trying to push him away. "You little!"

Suddenly the boy was pulled off and was surrounded by the five bullies. There was fire in the boy's eyes but with his height he wouldn't be too successful against five taller bullies. The boy was pushed and punched a couple times before a shadow casted over them. The bullies looked back with a glare but it couldn't rival the one being given to them.

"Don't touch him."

"Oh yeah what-" the ring leader of the bullies was easily pushed about a meter away.

Suddenly all the bullies were gone and the tall boy looked at the other one.

"Good job Kei!" He shouted sticking his arm out for a pound but only received a soft glare. "Yeah!" He shouted smacking the boy's chest.

"Stop getting into fights."

"But I was helping someone!" The boy exclaimed before he went over to the boy he helped and crouched next to him since the boy was on his butt "Hi, I'm Haruto, that's Kei."

"I-I'm Yamaguchi Tadashi."

"Oh....those are our given names, sorry that's a habit." Haruto chuckled rubbing his head. "He doesn't like being called Kei, but I do it anyway, his family name is too hard for me to pronounce, so if I'm really angry at him I just yell Tsukki real loud."

"Tsukki?" Yamaguchi asked.

"Yep! You can keep calling me Haruto though. I don't like my family name, it's my mom's but I live with my Dad and Papa because she didn't want me anymore." Haruto shrugged.

"Y-you have two fathers?"

"Yep, ones really goofy and the other one is pretty funny too but he's a bit more calm." Haruto smiled before standing up and offering Yamaguchi a hand. "Let's be friends, Yama-chan."

"He-Hey Haruto." Yamaguchi said noticing a nasty looking bruise poking out from underneath his shirt.

"Yeah?" Haruto asked as he continued his math problem.

"Where'd that bruise come from?" Yamaguchi asked starring at Haruto's face knowing his facial expression would give him away, it always did.

"I was cornered during lunch and got beat up." Haruto said as he continued on to the next math problem. "Don't tell Kei."

"Why'd they....Why'd they do it?" Yamaguchi asked. "Did you fight back?"

"I don't fight back." Haruto said looking at Yamaguchi. "Fighting is pointless unless you're doing it to defend someone else." Haruto said with his kind smile before going back to his math homework. "Don't tell Kei." Haruto repeated.

"Why not?" Yamaguchi asked confused.

"Because it's not his fight." Haruto said shaking his head. "Plus it's not like they hurt me, my little four year old cousin hits harder than them." Haruto said waving his hand in dismissal.

"Why'd they do it?" Yamaguchi asked knowing he had yet to answer him.

This caused Haruto to tense up before he looked over to Yamaguchi with a sad smile. His eyes read pain yet he tried to hide it with a smile.

"Isn't it obvious?" Haruto asked not noticing the door opened. "I'm a fag." Suddenly pain erupted on the left side of his face and he yelped as his chair tipped back and he fell to the floor. "What the hell!"
