Skye had spent the rest of her day with Leah sitting in her dorm learning everything she needed to catch up on. As much as she tried, she couldn't do everything, but she had learned a lot. Tomorrow was going to be her first day at school.

She slept easily that night. It felt like for the first time, she had no weight on her back. Telling Leah about her parents made her go to sleep easily.

The next morning, she had Magic History as her first class. When Leah said it was boring, she really didn't think that they would be listening to a teacher read ten words off the first page, spending five minutes explaining each word. They spent an hour and a half in that class. Next class was Controlling Magic. This one was more interesting. A lot more interesting. Even if it was mostly spent sitting on the floor and listening to music, it was still better than her last class. Another hour and a half in that stuffy classroom.

They had Lunch then. Miranda, Rian, Leah and Mia were all in her classes. After lunch, they had art class, which was to express yourself. The teacher explained to Skye that art was about expressing yourself, which opened up you imagination. She said with better imagination, you could have stronger magic. They were to draw a monkey as creatively as they could.

It was better than the first two classes. The next class was Skye's favourite before. She learned how to make stuff actually move. She could lift the chair halfway across the room by the end if the class. There were so many different types of magic that the classroom was covered in all sorts of things by the end of it. And that was the end of the school day. They went for dinner after that, before going over to the notice bord. Leah reached it first. "Oh my god! It's the exams!!!" She screeched.

Ten seconds later and every single person in the canteen were trying to sign their name up for the 'exams'.

Skye stood back, waiting for Leah and the others to escape the crowd. "Your Skye aren't you?" Someone from behind her said.

Skye spun around in fright. She came face to face with no one other than blonde haired, blue eyed Tyler. Perfect. "Yes, I'm Skye" she said.

"Good, I was told to find you".

He grabbed her hand and pulled her after him and out of the hall. He pulled her all the way to the stadium, where Dean was waiting for them. "Look who's here" Dean said sarcastically.

"We're here to train you" Tyler said, ignoring Dean.

"Still annoyed you were knocked out by a single blow from Noah?" Dean laughed.

Tyler scowled at him. "Anyway, show us what you got" Dean said, motioning to Skye.

Skye looked at him. "I'm not good" she said.

"We don't care whether your good or not, we're still training you".

Skye looked around, not sure what to do. There was nothing she could use her telekinesis on, which meant she was powerless. "Got nothing? Okay well then let's see how quick your reflexes are" Dean said grinning.

Next second, she felt arms grabbing her hand, and she was falling from five hundred feet towards the ground. She screamed her heart out, while Dean and Tyler simply watched. Ten seconds before she hit the ground, she felt herself being grabbed again. She was standing back on the ground, completely un scathed other than the wind burns she got on her way down.

"Well. Slow reactions anyway. Now, lift Tyler" Dean ordered.

"What?!" Tyler and Skye said simultaneously.

"With your telekinesis obviously" Dean said grinning, "like this".

With that, Tyler went up into the sky and hovered there for a few seconds before collapsing onto the ground. "Dean!" Tyler shouted.
