It has been almost a month since I have seen El. I glance over and see her bed. Empty. As empty as my heart without her. She completed me. I wonder if I will ever get to see her again. I get interrupted by my mom. "MIKE! TIME FOR SCHOOL!" "COMING!" I run upstairs and hop on my bike and head to school.

When I get to school, I see that Dustin, Lucas and Will have already gone inside. I enter Mr. Clarke's room and- I can't believe what I see before me.

El

"El? Is that really you?" I hear Mike say. "Mike," I reply "it's me." 

Mike

I can't believe this. It's really her. Right in front of me! I run up to her and give her a big, tight hug. "El, I missed you so much," I tell her. "I missed you too, Mike." Dustin, Lucas, Will, and Mr. Clarke are all standing around us. I let go of El and greet everyone. "Hello, Mr. Clarke. Hey guys." "Hello, Mike. The boys told me that Eleven came back last night and was found at Dustin's house this morning. They want me to have her be a part of our class. How do you feel about this scenario, Mike?" Mr. Clarke asked me. "I would love to have her go to school with us!" I answered quickly. Lucas gave me a "really?" look. Mr. Clarke thought for a moment. "Well, since you all seem so attached to her, welcome to Hawkins Middle, Eleven!" I looked at El, who looked like she was so happy she could cry, and I hugged her again and this time laid a soft kiss on her forehead. Man, I missed this. I missed being around her. I missed her living with me. I missed the warm hugs and kisses, and having each other's backs all the time. Now I get this back, and this time for good.
