Aemin was very nervous. Her roommate, Alex, was invited by the production team for her individual interview. The members took turns to sit through the interview conducted in another separate room. Only Aemin and the maknae was left.
"Why are we the youngest ones," the maknae complained. Although everyone was anticipating for the interview, meaning that shooting has started and no one will change plans for them to go travel, the maknae was the most excited.
Xu lightly flicked her forehead as she walked by. "Being an unnie is difficult too. Be grateful that you are smol."
Seora, the eldest of them all, chuckled as she nodded. "Taking care of you is difficult too! Be grateful that you are not a leader."
Xu halted her steps to the door and turned around, judging the leader hard. Seora hung her arm around Xu's and guided her to the door. "I'll go with you."
"Are you going to wee wee?" Rae asked. She tossed away the magazine and grabbed her phone. "Wait for me."
The maknae rolled her eyes at her elder's childish selection of words and watched them go out. She was playing with her hair in boredom, now that only the busy member was in the room with her.
She had always loved her, but she knew not to bother her friend whenever she had her earphones on and eyes on the computer.
Shortly, just before the other girls were back from their wee wee tour, Alex burst into the waiting room, panting, but a wide smile on her face. "Hey hey," she went over to the girl and pulled out her earphones, "you're next."
They both shared a high-five and Alex slumped into the chair, whilst the latter waved to the maknae on the way out.
"Where are my boobs at?" Alex fanned herself with her palm. She was still sweating.
The maknae sighed and rolled her eyes, again, at her member's vocab. "Your boobs, according to them, went to wee wee."
Alex scowled. "Why are you so vulgar?"
"You too," she retorted. The pair shared a few moments of silence, before the maknae ended it again. "So how's the thing? What did they ask you?"
Alex shrugged, "Just those normal stuff you know, like where do you think you'll be going, who do you want to go with, all that."
"Oh my God," the maknae jumped in her seat happily. She was already starting to form answers to her interview. Of course she would want to go with GOT7, with Junior being her long time friend.
She wanted to ask more about the interview so that she could prepare, however the rest of her members returned. They seemed excited and all. "Nana!" Aemin ran to her enthusiastically, flapping her hands like a chicken, hitting her randomly.
"What, wait— what's wrong?" The maknae frowned.
"Na-sty guess who did we meet on the way?" Xu wiggled her eyebrows.
Rae hammered her chest dramatically. "Junior asked us are we going on a trip. Could they be going too?"
"If he already knew, probably they are really going," Seora pointed out.
Nana's heartbeat raced rapidly, but slowly she shook her head in disappointment. "I told him last time that we will be going to a trip, but he doesn't know that it is for a program."
There was a knock on the door, and with a click it opened, the producer in sight again, holding a handy camera. "Now Nana, let's quickly record yours before you go on stage."
