Seven point six billion people in the world and I am stuck with the seven people that could change a person's like just by touching them. Seven people who have the same world view; seven strangers that had nothing in common but came together to form a family. They believe that the world out there has nothing left but greed and suffering. To be honest with you, I don't blame them. Would you if your life was stolen from you and there was nothing you could do about it?

Blue skies and a couple of gray sully clouds covered Soul's view as the Kennedy family sped past fields of nothing. Their car packed full of useless trinket, doodads, and the always attractive porcelain dolls, all of it squeezing her against the cold car door. This was nothing new to the seventeen-year-old girl, in this year alone the family moved four times just, so her father would be able to keep his job. With Soul's mother no longer in the picture David, her father, wanted to make sure that even if work piled up and ate him, he would be able to make it home just for her. This time around he rented a small townhouse in Cincinnati as a temporary place to stay. So sure, that they would leave again, Soul pushed off enrolling for school.
"You'll enjoy this new place, Soul. Your mother always loved Cincinnati, I'm sure you will too." David reassured his daughter, looking at her through the rear view mirror. Ever since his beloved wife Amy died, David has tried everything to get Soul to speak to him more than just a few words here and there. David sighed at her none response and looked back to the road.
Soul tried to give her father a smile. But nothing came, just a stoic look and a small hum. To David that was enough to know that she was alright. After miles of field and cows, the Welcome to Cincinnati sign came into Soul's point of view. Before she could even blink the fields turned into houses and houses turned into giant buildings. She gaped in awe at the buildings touching the sky.
David pulled up to a black and white townhouse, parking the car. The movers pulled up behind him ready to go. Soul jumped out of the car and immediately started to walk down the street. She wouldn't dare spare another glance at the house, not today anyways. The less attached she was to the house and this city the better.
"Soul! Be careful and home before 8! I'm making sloppy joes!" David yelled towards his daughter. Soul looked behind her shoulder. A feeling of happiness gave her the ability to smile, she knew her father cared for her. The least she could do is show him she cares too, even if his cooking was terrible.
The streets were bustling with all diverse types of people. Old, young, weird and busy. All shoving their way past each other to get to the places they need to be a millisecond faster than the rest. Street vendors and performers all shouted out for attention, overwhelming Aurora as she passed by. The noise gave her a sense of fulfillment like she was meant to be around this type of chaos.
Soul stopped in front of a little hole in the wall diner, from the outside it seems to be empty. Upon pulling the door a small bell rang signaling her arrival. Behind the counter, a boy no older than sixteen stood counting the money from the register. His face partially covered by his longer brown hair. He clothes seemed to be part of a uniform, a blue faux denim shirt with a black tie around his neck and thrown over his shoulder to stay out of the way. Soul stepped closer to get a better view of his name tag that hung tightly to his shirt. The black tag read Finn in small white handwriting. Something about him called to Soul, peaking her interest. She didn't even have to see his face to know he was attractive. Afraid to approach Finn completely, Soul sat down on the far end of the counter, waiting for someone to come to her. She slowly picked up the closest menu, completely hiding her face from the world. After a few seconds, Soul was approached by a rounder young girl with long blonde hair and bright green eyes, seemingly welcoming everyone who investigated them.
