They were sitting in the cafe and talking, Kaneki was being made fun of by Hide about girlfriends and dates they HIde said "I don't even get how this girl fell for you!" Hanako feeling the need to get in a quick roast said to Hide "Like you can talk you haven't even had a girl fall in love with you yet!" Kaneki looked at his sister, slightly annoyed and told her to not be mean to Hide who was just laughing it off. As they were talking they saw Kaneki's date come in, a tall thin woman with purple hair and glasses she gave Kaneki a sweet look and he blushed heavily, by now Hide had already gone and so Kaneki had started reading his book which coincidentally was the same as this girls. "Who's that?" Hanako asked her brother. "Oh thats Rize and she's my date for next weekend." He said as he blushed to a crimson. "Jeez get your act together its only one girl can't you handle the situation?" Hanako asked her brother in a superior tone. She had always the dominance of the two and was the one who told him what to do. "Lets go then." Hanako said in a bored tone before she turned to Touka. "Oh hey Touka here's the money, wanna meet up tomorrow and do something?" she asked. "Sure where d'ya wanna meet? Here?"Touka said. "Sure, thank you and bye!" They left the cafe for home and Hanako as usual cooked dinner this was because Kaneki made it usually inedible though he was learning. "Right Kaneki tonight we are having Ramen made by yours truly!" She exclaimed. "So im wondering what are you going to take for your Exams?" Kaneki asked as they sat at the table. "Im hoping to take Cooking, English, History and Sports." she told him. "Cooking? Is that just because you feel you should as a girl?" Kaneki asked as a joke breaking out a small laugh. "No idiot its because its fun!" Hanako shouted whilst breaking out a small laugh too. "By the way Touka is probably sleeping over here tomorrow, she texted me earlier so can you help me get out a bed you know im too small!" Hanako told her brother "Okay Han well im going to the bookstore tomorrow to get some studying material, i'll be back by about 3PM." Kaneki said. "Can you buy those cool burgers on the way back." She said. "Okay." Kaneki accepted.
NEXT DAY:
"Hi!" Hanako excalimed as she met Touka. "So what do you want to do first, we can go to the games store later because with MY money not Kaneki's, I bought something cool you and me can share!" "Cool." Touka." said back. "Hey Touka what would you do if say I were a Ghoul and you found out?" Hanako asked Touka as they were walking to a shop. "I don't know, what would you do?" Touka asked. To the surprise of Touka she replied immediately with a smile. "Well why would you report them, they are your best friends after all and I wouldn't wanna lose a friend just like that besides even if they tried to eat me, at least im helping them survive!" Touka was so happy with her friends response and smiled, she could tell her friend she knew, but ONLY in private. Later Touka and Hanako picked up the new "Thing." to share which turned out to be a Play station 3 "What the hell Han how much did that thing cost!" Touka exclaimed with surprise. "Well it was about 22 thousand Yen which I had been saving up for something, i dont know what, since I was five. Saw this on You tube and decided to buy it." Hanako laughed awkwardly. "Well out of my 15000 yen left I have 10,000 on me so what games do you want to buy?" Hanako asked. "These?" Touka asked as she picked up COD, Little Big Planet and Grand Turismo 6. "Definitely." Hanako said as her face gleamed in excitement. "Kaneki is going to HATE me when I get home, he'll probably say not to waste money like that, but I don't care." Touka and Hanako got home at about 3:30 to find Kaneki just unpacking the stuff he'd bought when he say the rather large luggage that Hanako was carrying. "Han, what have you bought now?!" As dominant as Hanako could be she knew that sometimes, her brother could out match her and this was one of those times. "Look its really cool." She showed the box to Kaneki feeling rather awkward. "Not a PS3 you idiot do you know how much those things cost?" Kaneki asked her angrily. "Well it was the money I saved up since I was five!" Hanako had taken back her superior tone and so Kaneki just gave up and carried on unpacking. "I've made the bed for Touka." Hanako wasn't listening, she pulled Touka to the TV and they plugged the PS3 in together before switching the TV to the PS3 mode, they then put in COD and started playing, the both of them unable to beat another. They were laughing and having fun switching between each of the games. "Hey Kaneki want to play?" Hanako asked "No thanks." Kaneki replied and so Touka and Hanako went back to their games until dinner. Kaneki found it surprising that the two girls got on so well despite being in different years. "So Touka what are you doing for your tests?" Kaneki asked. "History, Geography, Sports and R.E." She replied. The awkward thing between Kaneki and Touka was that they both had a crush on each other yet she was also his sisters best friend. They ate the burgers and went to sleep to all go to School or Uni for Kaneki in the morning.
