Chapter 1

A young maid was walked down the long corridors of the Agreste castle searching for her highness room. This maid had been assigned by King Gabriel to be the personal maid for his son Prince Adrien.

"Are you lost" A maid asked as the young girl turned around a corner.

"Yes I'm looking for Prince Adrien's room" the girl said straightening the hem her outfit.

"Straight down the corridor and last door on the right" the maid said pointing down the corridor that she had just turned down.

"Thank you. I'm Marinette" the girl said holding out her hand.

"Alya" the ombré hair girl said shaking her hand.

"So your the new personal maid for Adrien are you" Alya asked eyeing Marinette.

"Yes. I'm really excited" Marinette said smiling.

"Well good luck" Alya said.

"Thanks, I'll need it. I'm really clumsy" Marinette said waving goodbye before running down the corridor towards Adrien's room.

Adrien POV

"Plagg can't you do anything else than lie around" I said glaring at my cat.

Plagg looked up at me before jumping of my desk and setting himself down on my bed. I was about to protest when a light tap was heard from the door.

"Your Highness" a voice said as the door opened.

I turned around to see a maid standing there her midnight blue hair pulled up in two piggy tails.

"Yes" I asked as the maid stepped in closing the door behind her.

"Your highness, I was assigned by your father to be your maid" she said bowing her head.

"Yes. My father told me to be expecting you. What is your name?" I asked curiously.

"Marinette, your highness" she said.

"Well Marinette, it is a pleasure to meet you. You are a lot better than my last maid" I said remember my last one by the name of Chloe.

"Sorry to be curious, but what was wrong with your last one?" Marinette asked.

"My last one was very clingy and wouldn't leave me alone" I said.

"Well your highness, I can assure that you will not be pester by me as much as your last maid" Marinette said.

"Thank you, and please just call me Adrien" I said smiling at her.

"Yes Adrien" Marinette said giving of a small giggle.

Hey everyone. I have to write a short story for my English assessment and this is going to be an extended version of my story, even though we haven't even started the task, I still wanted to start as I love writing.
