High School: Love Over Sisters

Chapter 1

(IU POV)

Its another day of nineteen hours of school. I'm so tired from all the studying I did last night. I didn't even get to sleep. Yu- bi seem to be energize and exited as she ran to our classroom toward me. Yu-bi is my cousin, and do everything together. I guess you can say that we are sisters instead of cousins. We went to the same elementary school, middle school, and now high school. This is our last year in high school, I hope both of us get accepted to the same college.

"IU, did you hear there is a new student at our school.", said Yu-bi running out of breath " I heard that he's pretty cute."

I'm so tried I couldn't even keep up with what Yu-bi was trying to tell me. I lift my head up and gave her a blank stare. As she just keep rambling on, all I can think of is going home and sleep. Staying up and studying for a test is so tiring. I'm not the smartest student so I have to study so my grades don't go down. Yu-bi on the other hand is very smart. She can capture what the teacher is teaching and she rarely needs to study.

"IU, IU are you listening to me", yelled Yu-bi as she snap her finger in front of my face.

I flinch, and stare at her again, "Yeah I was listening. You said something about a new student."

Right before Yu-bi continue, the home teacher Mr. Kim enter. A boy followed him in the classroom. That must be the new student Yu-bi is talking about. He was wear a white collar shirt with a red and white tie. On the jacket it had a tag with his name and our school name.  Over that he wear a dark navy blue jacket, black pants, and he was wearing a pair of dark grey converse shoes. I mean what else would he wear it was our typical school uniform, just that girls wear a skirt that is checker pattern and is navy blue and red.

"Why won't you introduce yourself to everyone?", said Mr. Kim.

He turn to all of us in the class room and bow, " Hello my name is Ji Soo. Nice to meet you all, please take care of me".  ("Please take care of me" is a phrase Koreans say when they introduce their self to others especially to elder).

There were two empty seats that were available, the one in front of me and the one in front of Yu-bi. Yu-bi si seated across from me. Mr. Kim told Ji Soo to sit in front of me. Out of the two seats why the one in front of me.

"IU can you show him around the school and help him, thanks.", said Mr. Kim.

I can't say no when the teacher asked me so I just nod my head. The class went by so slow because we were taking our test. I barely knew anything on the test even if I study my butt of. Mr. Kim is not a easy teacher. He can be fun at time but his work is not fun at all.

Finally class was over, it was time for lunch. I can finally breath. I walked out of the class room to get some lunch when I remember what I was suppose to show the new student around. I ran back to the classroom, thank goodness he was still there.

Running out of breath I said,"Hi I'm Lee Ji Eu, but you can call me IU. It's my nickname. Let me show you around."

He smile, " Nice to meet you IU, I'm Ji Soo. Thanks but I already know the school campus and all I had a tour this morning with Mr. Kim."

What? For reals, I ran back to the class room for no reason. Mr. Kim can be so mean and why didn't he tell me this before waste of my time. Now the lunch line is gonna be so long. I just laugh and nod my head up and down as I walked out of the room. As I walked to the cafeteria, I can fell Ji Soo was following me. I stop and slowly turn my head, he was five step away from me and he also stop to. I continue to walk, I could feel him walking behind me again. Then I stop and he stop. What was he trying to do, I turn and he was still five step behind me. I stare at him and smile, he smile back. I started to fast walk, and he started to fast walk. As I fast walked I bumped to someone who came out of the corner. I fell backward and Ji Soo caught me from behind. At this point we were face to face.

He smile and said, " Are you okay?"
