It's the day of the sleepover, Aaron offered to come help set it up and his coming at 1pm. So I have the whole house for myself until then and it's currently 8am... Maybe I could ask Aaron if he could come round earlier?

A- hi Aaron. Aa- hi Aph, everything ok?? A- yeah... Are you awake?? Aa- yep, have been since 7. A- that question was probably stupid too ask. Aa- haha. A- do you maybe want to hang out before the sleepover?? Aa- sure... Who else will be there? A- just us two?? Aa- be right over.

Aaron seemed a bit quick witted on the phone which makes me laugh. I sit down for 5 minutes and I hear a knock at the door. It's Aaron. "Wow, you came over quick." He blushes at this and I laugh. "What do you want to do??" "Uhhhh.... I don't mind. Want to go down town or something and grab some extra stuff for the sleepover??" He suggests and I nod. "I needed to pick some snacks up anyway, so let's go! Are you driving?" I ask. "Yeah, let's go." We grab our stuff and head out.

So me and Aph are driving to town and she puts on some music in the background but we have a chat. "Are you excited for the Winter Ball??" I ask her, I think I'm going to ask her... I just don't know if I have the courage to ask. "Yes! I think the girls and I are going to go dress shopping, you and the boys should come also." She says and I agree. "So who's coming tonight??" I question because I can't remember all of the people. "Girls are, me, Cadenza, Lucinda, Kawaii~Chan and Katelyn. Boys are, you, Garroth, Travis, Jeffory and maybe Laurance." She says but says his name a bit quiet (Laurance). "You ok?" I ask. "Yeah just can't really say anything because we have this 'truce' now..." Her and Liana have been going back and forth and I have a feeling this isn't going to end well tonight. "So, where do you want to go first?" She asks as we arrive. "I don't mind, do you want to have a look around the town??" I suggest. We are in a quiet little country town that's quite out the way and is super pretty. It's a nice place to go for a day out. "Yep, we have about 3 and a half hours because we need to get back and set up before the sleepover. We could maybe have a walk through the park first, I know that sounds so cliché." We both laugh but I agree, it does sound nice to have a walk through the park.

As we are walking down towards the park, Aaron has become a really close friend lately and it's nice to have some time just us two. We notice a funfair down near the lake and we head over. There is a Waltzer's (video below in case you don't know what it is)
so I convince Aaron to come on with me and I keep accidentally bumping into him whilst it's spinning. It's fun all the same though. After that we go to the town and buy some snacks.

As we're heading back, I notice that Aph starts to shiver. It was dropping in temperature and I had a spare jacket so I offered it her. She took it and wrapped it round her quickly. "Thanks." She said while shivering. "Yo-u-r wel-co-me." I reply pretend shivering and she laughs. "Do you have any siblings?" She asks and I nod. "A sister, her name is Lillith. You?" I reply. "Levin and Malachi, my two morons of brothers. They pull pranks on me, I do back to them. We get along quite well to be honest." She says. "Will they be there tonight??" I ask curious as to where they'll be. "They've gone to visit their dad and moms gone too because his her partner. They are my half-brothers." I'm curious about her dad but she cuts me off from my thoughts and says-- "my dad walked out on me when I was 12 then when I was 14, he said he wanted to come see me. On the way to my house he.... He was in a car crash. He had a heart condition, he was coming to tell me. It failed him on the way over and he.. He..--" she started to tear up. I feel instantly bad and I put my arm on her shoulder. She buries her head in the jacket that I have her. "You ok?" I ask guilty. "Yeah." She says putting a brave face on. "Come on let's head back and set up."
