TY'S POV:

After school, Ryan was gonna pick me up and we're going to the cemetary afterwards. It was a hard decision, but I'll do it for Brielle.

I waited by a bench near where the cars parked. I grabbed mu bag almost immediately after I saw Ryan's car heading on to my direction. I opened the front door. "I'm sorry, but who are you?" a woman wearing a white shirt asked. Oh shit. "Oh my God! I'm so sorry! I thought this was my sister's car" I apologized. Just before I could close the car door, I saw a familiar face on the back seat. Then suddenly, I heard Ryan's real car's horn. I forgot about that weird situation and hopped inside Ryan's car.

"I saw the whole thing and it was hilarious" she showed me her phone. I didn't even smile the least bit. Not because it wasn't funny. But the fact that I saw someone that I thought passed away just seems disturbing. "Hey, sorry. I'll delete the video if you wanna" she took out her phone. "No, no! Let me see the video!!" I urged. "Okay, okay"

I watched every single moment. Unfortunately, Ryan didn't videotape the girl. But, she did tape their plate number. "Hey, Ry, follow that blue car, would ya?" I asked. "Uhm, sure, but what about the cemetary?"

"It'll be for a couple of minutes. Just hurry!" I tapped my feet repeatedly. She turned on the car and the engines roared to life. She went on a normal pace, following closely behind the car similar to ours.

We kept following the car until it pulled up. I had a look around. "Dude, this is where we were supposedly heading"

I nodded in agreement. The woman in the white shirt earlier stepped out of the car, followed by the guy who drove the car, a younger girl, and the girl who looked insanely familiar. I ran towards them, approaching the girl. I tapped her shoulder. "Brielle?" I asked as she turned around. "I'm sorry, who?" she furrowed her eyebrows. "Brielle" I repeated. "I'm sorry, you must be mistaken me for someone else. I'm Adeline" she shook my hand. "Uhm, if you'll excuse me, I have to go visit somebody" she smiled and walked away. "Who?" I asked. "My mom"

Brielle's mom died on a car accident when she was eight...

"Oh, I'm so sorry. What happened?"

"Brain Cancer. Stage four"

"How old were you?"

"I was about twelve years old"

"Not that I mind, but why are you asking me such personal questions?" she asked. "Oh, sorry. It's just that, you remind me of someone I used to know. She passed away two years ago. Today is her second anniversary" I explained. "Oh, that must have been really hard for you. I'm really sorry..."

"Ty" I completed her sentence. "It's very nice meeting you. Hope we can talk again soon?"

"Definitely!" I took out my phone as she took out hers. We exchanged numbers. "Adeline! Let's go!"

"That's my stepmom. I gotta go! It was nice chatting!" she said as she ran away. After that encounter with "Adeline", it made me wonder if there is such thing as miracles. What if that really was Brielle? What if she came back to life and just changed her identity. Or maybe that really was another person that just happens to look like Brielle. See how confused I am?!!
