Alibaba didn't know if he wanted to make the phone call. On one hand, he desperately needed help for his classes, and soon. On the other hand he didn't want help from the people who had filed lawsuit after lawsuit against his father. And on the other hand, why should he side with the people who had never accepted him? Alibaba realized he didn't have three hands. The only good thing about this situation was it was able to distract him from his job. The day was finally winding down, and most of the customers had left, save for a few regulars, waiting for the last minute to leave, when the door jingled. Alibaba looked up, and saw the man from the day before. He had instantly not liked him. The man looked at him and flashed a grin, his red eyes glinting.

"Hey horn head." The man said. Alibaba grabbed the top of his head.

"Messy hair is fashionable!" The other man laughed, and it became clear to Alibaba the kind of person he was.

Alibaba spoke again, trying to get a word between the laughter. "Listen, is Kougyoku with you?" If she was there, then there was a small chance that he would be able to deal with this idiot.

"Oh, I bet you would like to see the old hag again." Judar said, shaking his head in a mocking way. Alibaba could feel frustration building up inside of him, but he was on his job. He had faced more irritating customers than this. He could do it. Alibaba took a breath, and smiled his biggest smile.

"Well," he said, "I'm not sure how to respond to that, but can I take your order?" Smile through the pain. Alibaba mentally reminded himself. Judar rolled his eyes.

"I came here to annoy you. You do realize that, right? Or is your hair bigger than your brain?" Alibaba gripped tighter onto the rag he was holding. This was getting really difficult.

"Hey, you shouldn't be mean to the guy." A young voice rang out. Alibaba turned and saw an elementary kid stating up at the both of them with a calm face. Judar raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, shortie?" Alibaba felt terror. He was going to lose his job because a fourth grader and a sociopath decided to fight on his shift.

"Please calm down." Alibaba said, noticing that by the minute the customers were getting quieter, listening in on the conversation.

"Not until this shortie apologizes to me."

"I'll apologize when you say your sorry to this guy."

Alibaba felt sweat dripping down his brow. "Listen, I don't really care about what this guy says to me, so will you say your sorry to him?" The kid stared at Alibaba.

"Huh. I thought you looked like a cheap stake when I saw you, but I didn't realize you would let other people boss you around as well." Alibaba now had realized he didn't like either of the people standing in front of him. A taller man interjected himself into the conversation.

"Listen sir," he said referring to Judar, "I'm just going to take Aladdin home." He shot Alibaba a sympathetic look. Finally a sane person had arrived.

"Not until that idiot apologizes to me."

"What did you call Aladdin?" And the only sane person has left the station, Alibaba thought to himself. A fight looked like it actually was going to break out. The coffee shop was fully quiet at this point. Judar laughed, mocking the tall man.

"If you hit me, the Ren family will sue you to the grave!" There that name was again.

"Wait, are you a member of the Ren family?" Alibaba frantically shouted out. Judar gave a confused look.

"Huh? Why do you care?"

"Please just answer the question!"

"No, but I know them. So do you."

Alibaba stared at Judar. Then it became clear.

"Kougyoku." Judar laughed.

"What, did you really not know she was a member of the Ren family?" Alibaba was really getting tired at all of this.

"Listen, buy something or get out." Judar shrugged.

"Whatever." He turned to the door, leaving Alibaba with a confused room of customers, an embarrassed man, and a kid named Aladdin. The kid looked up at him.

"Good job mister!" He beamed up at Alibaba. Who was this guy? Alibaba thought, irritation prickling through him. The other guy seemed to burrow further into his scarf.

"Sorry for all the trouble." He said, and dropped some money into the tip jar.

"No problem at all." He was lying. But he knew the importance of common courtesy. Especially when the person you're being polite to pays your bills. The man adjusted his glasses.

"I take care of Aladdin while his parents work, so I can get protective of him." He stuck out his hand. "I'm Ugo."  Alibaba really didn't want to be having another conversation. But he smiled again, willing his shift to be over.

"I'm Alibaba."

"Do you go to Sindria University?" Alibaba was glad he didn't think he was a high school student. No matter what they said, young looks were a curse.

"Yeah. I'm a business major."

"Oh, well then you should come get a tour at Aladdin's parents business,"
Alibaba was still frustrated at this man. But he also had no money. And seeing the way a business worked from the inside was always good for training.

"Okay, I'll think about that," Alibaba said. The man smiled.

"All right. Then come by the Alma Torran Headquarters at eight in the morning tomorrow. I'll see you there." The man turned and lead the kid out. Alibaba stared. It was insane. Everyone he was meeting was somehow tied into these big companies.

This has to be some kind of fate, Alibaba thought. And the girl I met is part of the Ren family and I was just offered a tour at another extremely powerful business.

Alibaba sat on his bed in his dorm. He picked up the phone and dialed the number on the piece of paper. The ring sounded. He desperately hoped that he would be able to get a good grade on his test. And this she would help him. The girl picked up.
