Recap:
"Bruh your house is so beautiful. And the roses bushes, I might want to dig them up and take them with me when I leave," Rani yells while jumping around with a smile on her face. I laugh at her childish ways. She looks at me with a pout and big puppy dog eyes, which only make me laugh harder. I fall to the ground rolling, laughing, and clapping like a retarded seal.
"What do we have here?" A familiar deep voice asks. I get up off the ground, only to see my worst nightmare.
End of Recap
Oh, my fudgamon!!!!!!! I can't believe what I'm seeing. The bastard that called me a little elf this morning is standing right in front of me, shirtless, his dark chocolate chest and abs glistening from sweat. Rani and I just stare with blank faces then look at each other then back at him. We repeat this for a good 2 to 3 minutes. Then Rani starts laughing behind her hand quietly.
"What does it look like we're doing?" I ask, with my usual rest in bitch face. He looks back at me with a blank face. We just have a stare-off. Until he breaks eye contact. I smirk knowing I won. I nod at Rani, letting her know to start heading inside. She gives a slight nod and heads inside. A couple of seconds later I'm right behind her. The bastard just stares at us, as we go inside my house. Introducing Rani to my grandparents, who automatically loved her. We headed upstairs to my room and relaxed.
"Ok, who then in the flying fudge was that guy, and why did it look like he wanted to murder you??", Rani blurted out. I sighed. And explained what happened this morning, from me going to my first class to meeting the ass fart. She nodded and stayed silent for a bit. Then, started complaining that she was hungry. Which resulted in me throwing a pillow at her.
"Hey! That wasn't nice..." She pouted. I shrug and look up at the ceiling. I wonder how I can get Rani and Isaiah together, they would be so cute. He's all tall, her being short that would be adorable. Hmm, I turned my head to stare at Rani and smirked. She backs away from me slowly, laughing nervously.
"Bree, Why are you smirking at me?" She asks, nervously. Still backing away slightly, I walk toward her slowly as backs herself into a corner with me standing in front of her. I crouch down in front of her. Staring at her intently for a good 10 minutes. I get up, shrug, and walk out of my bedroom, Raven following a couple of seconds later, yelling at me. I drowned her out traveling down the stairs at a steady pace towards the kitchen, where my grandma was getting things ready for dinner.
"Mummum, you need any help with dinner?" I ask, sliding into a place at the kitchen island with Rani next to me pouting. "Seems she finally got that I was ignoring her," I thought.
"Yes sugar, I do need some help, I invited our new neighbors over for dinner tonight, I was wondering if you could make your amazing strawberry shortcake?" She states, softly. I nodded my head and checked the pantry for the dry ingredients I needed for the cake. Asking Rani if she could get the wet ingredients from the fridge. I started mixing the ingredients with the help of Rani who insisted on learning how to bake. Within 15 minutes, we had everything mixed in and put in the oven. I set a time for 20 to 25 minutes. Rani and I decide to watch some Tv while the cake bakes. I put some Criminal Minds on and we sat there for a good 15 minutes before Ray's phone rang. The voice on the other side of the phone sounded like her mom telling her to get home before it gets too dark. Which ended with whining, pouting, and finally giving up on the motherly offenses.
"Bree, I gotta go, my mom is being a pain in the ass again. Save me a slice of cake, please?" She says, putting on her best puppy dog face. I sigh and nod, she cheers as I push her out the front door. I then shut the door behind her and headed to the kitchen to check on the cake. And to possibly sneak some of grandma's food. The cake was just about ready, so I got the icing and strawberries. Finishing up the cake and placing it in the fridge, I head upstairs to get ready for dinner. I take a quick shower and change into a simple knee-length emerald green dress with black flats. Taking a quick look at my choice, I nod and head downstairs where I hear my grandma greeting the guests. As I quickly descend the stairs, I come face to face with that oh-so-hot bastard that seems to keep popping up. Nobody has noticed that I've come down the stairs except for the jerk standing right in front of me, looking oh-so-delicious. I stare at him and he stares right back at me with slightly widened eyes. I narrow my eyes slightly at him, he still is staring at my face, not blinking at all. At least he's not a pervert.
