"Joey! Joey! Get up! Time to get ready for school!"
Joey opened one eye and then shut it. "Ugh. Why do I have to get up?" he said outloud.
"Because you can't get an education sitting in your room all day Joey. Mrs Ketchum rang me the other day to tell me you were daydreaming. Is this true?" said Joey's mum, walking in with a tray of toast.
"But Mum! I was thinking about how I'm gonna beat Bill in a Pokémon card battle!" Joey protested.
"Bill? You mean that guy who is obsessed with Pokémon? You really need to lay off this Pokémon stuff. It's not healthy."
Joey flung himself out of bed and said "I can play Pokémon if I want! Now go away and let me get dressed."
Joey's mum walked out, sighing. "Sometimes I don't know what to do with him."
