"Do you want me to call your parents?" Hux asked. Kylo stared at him for a while and then shook his head.

"They've gotta know that you're over here, Ren," Hux insisted. Ren's parents were probably worried sick. Kylo huffed. "Fine. Give them a call. But I'm not going back there."

Hux dialed the number that he had already memorized. "Mrs. Solo? Hi, this is Hux. I just wanted to let you know that your son will be staying the night at my house tonight," Hux paused. "No, it's no trouble at all ma'am. I'll give him a ride to school tomorrow. See you later. Bye."

"Thanks for doing that," Ren told Hux.
"No problem. Do you want something to eat?" Hux asked. "I'm good."

"Kylo, you have to eat something," Hux insisted. "I'll make you something," he said.

Ren gave in. Twenty minutes later they were sitting at Hux's kitchen table. "This is really good," Ren said through a mouthful of food.

"I could tell you were hungry. When was the last time you ate?" Hux asked.
"Yesterday night," Kylo said blushing.

"Really?! That's a long time." Ren wanted to talk about something more serious. "Hux? Are you dating Phasma?" He asked quickly.

"Phas? No. We're just really good friends, that's all." Hux answered.

"Oh okay. I was just wondering." Good.

"I'm gonna head up to bed. You?" Hux asked. "Yeah, I'll be there in a bit." He blushed again.

Pretty soon both of the boys were asleep in Hux's room. His cat, Millicent had curled up on Kylo's stomach.

His face hurt like hell, but being with Hux made it feel better. What?! What was he thinking? Hux was just a friend. Nothing else. But maybe he's more...
Kylo drifted off.

Hux was thinking about Kylo. Was he just a dorky emo guy who happened to be his best friend or did he feel something more? Ew, gross. Hux pushed the thought aside. Even though he was gay, that didn't mean he could crush on some kid he just met. It was too WIERD.
