☆Chapter ❶☆

I run down stairs almost dropping my backpack.
"Mom is break fest ready?"
"Yes here" she say as she hands me a plate of pancakes.
"Oh my gosh my favorite"
"Ha yeah, anyway don't be nervous"
"How am I not suppose to be nervous mom, IM GOING INTO 12th GRADE!" I scream
"Don't scream honey you'll be fine, you always do"
"Yeah that's true" I say as I finish my pancake
"Well I love you mom bye"
"Bye honey, have fun"
Oh my gosh I'm not going to have fun.
As i almost walk out, I stop at the door.
I pretend there is a line between the real world and my safe place... Home.
I think to myself, I'm gonna do great, I always do, let's just rock this year like all the rest.
I take a deep breath, and cross the line into reality.

As I walk into high school, I instantly get scared and remember every ones looking at me.. But I look around and every ones to busy having a reunion with all there friends to make fun of me, so I quickly go to my locker and open the big boy up.
"I've missed you so much" I say
What? Don't make fun of me it hold's your stuff for you... It's like your own boyfriend... Except it's not alive and it's made of metal.
As I put my books I don't need yet in the locker I see at the corner of my eye of my best friends Pelle.
I close my locker and turn to him.
"Hi Pelle"
"why didn't you text me all summer"
"One reason, I don't have time and second, your super annoying" I say
"well I'm sorry, at least you don't have to spend all summer in Pennsylvania with your aunt Meg that smokes pot"
"Where do you sleep?" I say as a little laugh comes out.
"I sleep outside in a tent"
"Really?"
"Yes, yes indeed"
I look around.
"Where's Amanda?"
"She's with Cadence"
"Oh"
Well let me fill you in.
See Amanda an I have been best friends since the 3rd grade and she started being Popular in the begging of high school. And we're still best friends but she likes to hang out with the popular kids. Cadence, Jake, Lola, and Manu.
And they aren't mean to me or Pelle so that's a win win.
