I was running down the street looking for a place far enough away that no one would recognize me. It was raining hard as hell but I had to keep going before my foster parents realized I was gone. They would probably make a scene about how their beloved but trouble making foster daughter just disappeared. Deep down I know they wouldn't care but since they were in debt, the money they were receiving for me was precious; that's what they get for taking "being rich" to the max.

I was taken from my thoughts when I was grabbed into a near-by alley. I began to scream as the dark figure whipped the back of his hand across my cheek. A tear washed down the side of my face as I could feel the stinging hand print appear on my face. I began to come angry and started fighting back before he whistled and before I knew it i was restrained and pinned to the ground. My pants were being yanked down as my muffled cries and screams got louder. I was kicked my leg, making the process harder for the unknown man. I screamed with all my might till I heard 3 gun shots go off and the mens bodies collapse on the side of me. I jumped and tried to hurriedly get up and when I did I came face to face with a fairly tall stranger.

"Say ya aigh der ma?" the man chuckled. I scoffed and pushed past him as I tried to wipe my tears away as fast as possible. I needed to get outta here quick. I grabbed my stuff and began to run until I felt a strong hand whip me around.

"WTF DO YOU WA-"

"Damn, ya couldn't een give a nigga a thank ya fa savin ya life?"

" I didnt ask you to" I scoled back.

"Look hea, I just dropped my bidness to help ya stank ass from getting raped and ya gonna disrespect meh. No lil ma, lets try again. Ma name is August and yours is?" he smirked.

I stepped back back into the ligth a little and so did he. He was gorgeous beyond the darkness . I took in his features a little bit more till he cleared his throat. I looked up.

"Ivery. Thank you but I've go to go." I started to walk off until he stopped me again.

"Where ya tryna go, I'ca take ya. Its dangerous outchea." he stated . " I aint takin no fa an answer".

He started walking away as a hesitantly followed behind. We made it through the alley safely as he took out what I'm guessing was his keys. He clicked the unlock button and the lights came on to a beautiful black Escalade. He looked at me and smiled.

"Like watcha see" he joked. I looked down and didn't say a word. He opened the door for me and I got in. I looked out the window as he got in also.

"Where to ma?' he asked. "Drop me off at Atlanta Hills Hotel near the train station please".

"Ohh someone got sa money I'ca see." he joked. I just sighed and put my head down. About thirty mins later he pulled up at the hotel. He helped me take my stuff in and up to my room which I was skeptical about at first but didn't care since I'd be gone in less then 5 hours.
