Skylar's POV

           

            Summer was coming to a close, life as I knew it was coming to an end, as I dreaded school known as college was knocking on my front door step. Sophomore year, another year bites the dust?! Right… Not knowing anything what to expect, I embarked on the journey that would soon determine my long future ahead of me.  Leo, a nerd that could turn heads, one that could be seen on the runway, if only he did not hide behind books and his studies and got out once in a while. 

            Oh, and did I mention that I’m totally head over heels for the guy…

            It started a little something like this: me, him, a party that he was completely trashed at, and a kiss. The least I could say is that my freshmen year of college was one to remember. It sucks to think that he was such a bookworm, one that did not know how to hold his alcohol, because every time I bring up our first kiss, he says, “Oh, the one along the river?” No, the one at the party!

            Slamming open the crooked door, none other than the slightly cocky Mikey with his arm wrapped around his girl of the week.  What a womanizer. Yup, he is my roommate; I really do not know how we are living in the same place, except that we both share the same love for sports.

            “Dude, you missed out on some major ass!”

            I rolled my eyes, “Man, if I went there, I would be coming back with a flock of fag hags wanting me to be their best friend.”

            We could not stop laughing, it was the only thing we could do at the time, since I was waiting for Leo to get out of the studio time on campus. The routine that I do every other day just to get a few feet away from him and chicken out at the last minute.

            “Oh, did I tell ya Leo was at the party with a new guy.”  

Leo’s POV

 

            I danced to lady gaga not noticing the snickering coming from my room that was connected to my bathroom. “You know if you really want to pull off the look, try wearing some glitter or better yet meat.” My best friend, Kiki Virgo, said giggling before I threw my wet towel from my hair. Flipping her off I went to my mirror fixing my hair with Bed Head.

            “So, where is your visiting cousin Paul?”

            She went to the mirror pulling down her shirt a little more to show off her clavicle piercings. “He is meeting us there; now hurry your ass up before we miss the entire party like last time.”

            And with that we exited our apartment, but not before I got a glance of upstairs…where the man I was still in love with lived…
