Sorry for the long wait... I had stuff going on. I'm human too, but, well, here's Chapter 2

I held her close, my arms around her small waist she was so tiny and she smelled like coconut and vanilla.
But all I could see was her brown wavy hair, and all I could hear was the sound of her angelic laughter, I couldn't catch a glimpse of her face but my wolf-senses kept telling me that she's my 'mate'.
I tried to see her face but I couldn't; no matter how hard I tried, she would hide behind her hair. I growled in frustration, but my anger faded and turned into a mixture of shock and sadness when I look down and realise that she is no longer in my arms, but running away from me.
"Wait come back." I yelled but then everything started fading.

I jumped up from my bed and ended up falling onto the floor.
Fuck
It was a dream; that must mean my mate is close now. I got up from the floor, and started heading to the showers, but all I could think about was the dream.
Well. Now I know how Prince Charming felt when his Cinderella left him.
By the way, I'm Hunter Brooks. I'm the Alpha of the Moon Dust pack - which is a huge pack and one of the most important. I'm 18 years old, and mate-less. I have brown hair and brown eyes. I'm the quarterback of West Field High School. I guess you can say I'm the 'IT' guy of the school... I'll admit I'm a player, but that will all change when I find my mate.
I finish getting dressed and make my way to the kitchen.
"Hey Hunter." I look over and I see Layla my recent fling sitting down on the kitchen counter.
God, what did she want.
"Hey." I mutter as I reach for an apple but she stops me and drags me to the front yard.
"Sit with me, its a nice day to be outside." She plopped down onto the grass.
"Uhh... sure." I sit down beside her.
We sit there quiet for a few awkward seconds. Then out of no where, she starts kissing my neck. I didn't stop her, I felt like I needed to get my head cleared out from that dream. But as Layla kept kissing my neck, I felt like someone was watching me. I felt my heart flutter, but at the same time, somewhat break. I look back and see no one there, but then a movement in the neighbor's house across the lake that caught my attention. All I saw was the curtain close and a tiny glimpse of a gorgeous girl. I felt my wolf wanting to surface.
"Layla. Stop." I push her off, trying to make my way to Jackson and Wendy's house.
"Why Hunter, baby?"She holds onto my arm as I stand up.
"You're a fling. Now let go." I growled.
"But Hunter." she tightens her grip on my arm.
God damn. Why did I bang her?
"Let go now." I say in my alpha tone and she didn't hesitate to let go and look at the grass beneath our feet.
I walk to the smaller mansion that wasn't far from where I live, and I pick up the sent, coconut and vanilla, just like the one in my dream. I start to run and next thing I know, I'm pounding on the door. The door opens and I see Wendy. Her scent was definitely not coconut and vanilla.
Thank god she isn't my mate.
"Hunter?" She asks, confused of why I suddenly showed up at her residence.
"Hi Wendy, I was just on a run and I needed to go bathroom and I knew I wouldn't make it back to my house so can I use yours?" I lied, thinking of the first excuse that popped into my head.
"Yeah sure." she replies opening the door wider. "Do you know where the bathroom is. There's 3 but ---"
"I know where." I cut her off, running into the house following the sweet sent up the stairs to the top room.
I flung the door open and there stood the most beautiful girl in the world, un-packing her things while sitting on her bed. Wait...
She just moved here? Yes!
But she's human? Fuck!
She turned around in one quick moment placing her hand on her mouth and jumping backwards, "Who are you?!" she screamed.
I was still so deep in thought that I didn't even notice her coming up to me. She kneed me where the sun doesn't shine and ran out of the room.
'Fiesty.' I thought. I liked that.
But I'm going to get her back for that... After the pain goes away....
I lay there on her bed room floor taking In the pain.
But damn.
She's hot.
