Jack's P.O.V
I check my phone and see that her next tour stop is Austin Texas. "When's the next plane to Austin Texas?" I ask the lady at the desk. "5 minutes," she says plainly. "Give me any ticket you got!" I say handing her my credit card.

She swipes my ticket and hands me back my credit card and my boarding pass. I grab it from her and sprint toward the gate. I hand he lady my boarding and she smiles at me. "You just barely made it,"

I thank her and run onto the plane. I take my seat and look out the window at the runway where Kim took off from. The plain starts to take off and tilt upwards toward the sky. "I'm coming for you Kim."

********************************************************** Two hours into the flight I realize how tired I am. I start to look around the plane and I see Jace! Kim's boyfriend! Crap! I can't let him see me. From the look on his face in stage, something tells he doesn't know who I am. And something tells me he really doesn't like me.

I pulled my hoody over my face and fall asleep. I wake up three hours later as the plane is landing. I get up and walk off the plane. I have about two hours until the concert starts. I don't have anything with me but my phone and wallet.

The amphitheater is only a couple blocks away. I walk towards the amphitheater and across the street is a mall. I get lunch and then walk around the mall for about an hour.

I headed across the street to the amphitheater. I've gotta find a way in. Sneak around the to backstage looking for a way in. I see a big black box and it says: INSTRUMENT:BRING BACKSTAGE

I climb into the box and inside is the piano and guitar I saw Kim's band using back in Seaford. Suddenly the box starts moving. After a couple minutes it stops.

I wait about thirty seconds and then climb out before someone comes to take the instruments out. I'm right behind the stage.

I see Kim and Jace talking. She stands up on our tip toes and gives him a kiss on the lips. Ouch. That hurts. Now I know Kim must've felt when she saw me with Donna.

They both walk out on the stage and the concert starts. I see a security guard coming. I quickly dive behind a large crate. I crouch down behind the crate for about two hours until finally I hear Kim yell, "Goodnight Austin!" and her foot steps backstage.

I get up and walk out from behind the crate to where she is behind the stage. "Kim!" I yell. She turns around. "Jack?!"

I run up to her. Then Jace comes over. "Olivia who is this guy?" he says. "Hey I recognize you! Your the gym from the concert. I'm warning you, stay away from my girl or I will hurt you!"

"Kim, please come home we miss you," I say. "Kim? Whose Kim?" I look from Jace to Kim. She has tears brimming her eyes. "He doesn't know anything does he?" I say. She looks at me, tears threatening to spill.

I'm gonna take that as no. "Kim please come home. You have too. We all miss you so much! Especially me."

"Alright dude that's it!" Jace says storming toward me. He throws a punch but I catch it in my hands. "You probably shouldn't have done that," I say with a smirk.
I twist his wrist with one hand turn around, and flip him over my back. "I'm a third degree black belt buddy, I serious would not recommend trying that again." I say.

"What do you say Kim? Come home? Just for the weekend?" I ask. She stays silent. "Please?"

"Alright. I owe it to you," I wrap my arms around her in a tight Hugh and she hugs me tightly back. She turns over to Jace whose still sprawled out on the floor. Whimp. "Jace I'm sorry I have to go. I'll explain later. And umm I think it's best if we just stay friends," she says.

Yes! Wait what? I'm still dating Donna. My phone buzzes and I check it. Well, scratch that looks like I'm single. The text was from Donna.

Donna: Jack Brewer we are over!

This means I have a shot with Kim. But that's not important right now. What's important is getting her home and getting everything straightened out.

Sadly though, her parents are still fighting. Kim never locked her window so when she left it just always stayed open and like mine there was tree under it to climb up.

Every now and then I'll go into her house. And sure enough everytime I go in there her parents are at each other's throats. Sometimes I'll even sit in the kitchen and have a snack and they won't even know I'm there! And last I checked the day before her concert Seaford they were still screaming at each other.

But I guess she can stay at my place. My parents are away on a business trip for like a week or two. They don't do business trips that often. But when they do go there usually pretty long.

They only have to go like once or twice a year though. My grandma used to stay with me but once we moved to Seaford and I started high-school, my parents decided that I was mature enough to stay home by myself.

It wasn't like I'd really be spending that much time home alone anyways. I spend most of my time out of school at the dojo and usually I eat at the mall food court.

I look at Kim. She looks down at her feet and kind of fidgets a little. "Are my parents still fighting?" I give her a sad look. "I'm so sorry Kimmy,"

She just nods. "It's okay, I still have you," she says smiling. I smile back. "C'mon Kimmy we've gotta plane to catch!"
