Joker

At first, the idea had been completely illogical and absurd in his perspective.

However, As time passed, Joker had grown more fond of the thought.

And to think, that he had almost shot the henchman in the head for having even voiced it out.

Joker sat on the kitchen counter situated in the middle of the warehouse, cleaning out the blood from his blades as well as reloading all of his guns.

It had only been a couple of days since Harley's death, but the effect it had on the Joker was incredibly noticeable to every one of his henchmen.

Though they too had been upset, they found it easier to move on and instead focus on the health of their boss.

"Boss?"

Joker looked up from the gun on his lap to lock his gaze with the henchman that had just spoken.

"What?" He questioned in a tired tone.

"I've, we've," The man gestures to all of the other henchmen in the room,"noticed that since Harley's death, you're not the same happy and fun boss we know."

Joker narrows his eyes as the henchman continues.

"I was thinking...what if, ya know, you just got a new Harley?"

All of the henchmen in the room stiffened as they waited for their boss' response.

Joker picked up the gun he had just finished reloading and brought it up to the man's face.

"What?" Joker repeated as he placed his finger onto the trigger.

"Ya know what? I didn't say anything,"The man rushed out nervously and quickly went to go sit back down on the couch.

Joker placed his gun down after making sure that the safety was still on.

Joker grinned fondly at the memory of the man's scared face before being brought back to reality as he remembers that he's supposed to be looking for any potential 'crazies' to fill Harley's role.

Flipping through the files of the patients at Arkham asylum, he groans as he is finding no one interesting.

"You would think that there would be much more-" Joker cuts his sentence short as he stares at one particular file.

Carefully, he reads the information printed on the paper and nods in amusement.

"Not bad," He mutters as he reads about her traits and her 'mental' problems before pausing on a single line and almost laughing.

Believes that anyone not worth her time should 'just die'.

He turns his gaze to the single picture that they have of Patient 623 and grins.

"She's just missing one thing," Joker mutters as he traces the image with his fingers.

"A smile on her face."
