Kait's Pov
All I saw was darkness. I looked around and saw Kai so I started to run to him and scream his name.
"Kai Kai !!" I was starting to slow down when I saw Leslie walking to him and hugging him.
I stoped when he turned to look at me and he had on a smirk on his face before kissing her. My heart shattered. He was my love of my life but I don't know what he is now.
The scene faded away and a park came into view.
"huh why am I in a park?" I whispered to myself. Then I remember this was my favourite park.
I started to walk to the slide cause that was where I would go when I feel like crying
I found my 7 year old self sitting under the slide crying. I walked over to her and whispered something into her ear.
"what's wrong?" I asked her.
" I miss my brother and the bully's are now punching me." she told me "why are you here?"
"I'm here because I saw my crush kiss my best friend." I told her while trying to hold back the tears.
She looked up at me and when I saw the cut on her right eye I remembered that they pulled me into an alley and cut me.
"wait who are you anyways?" she asked me in her squeaky voice. Yup my voice was squeaky from age 1 to 8.
"I'm you in the futer." I told her and she gasped when the words left my mouth.
"wow! Wait if your from the futer how old are you? Is my hair gonna unspike? Am I still friends with Gabby? Am I in a band? Do I get a boyfriend? Do I get new friends? Am I a ninja and if I am what color and element?" she said all that in one breath. Wow I talked a lot.
"okay, I'm 16. No your hair is gonna stay like that forever I just becomes lighter. No she became my enemy after elementary. Yes you are in a band. Not yet still working on it. Yeah you get nine new friends and one of them is gonna end up being your little sister cause you two are always together. And you become the red fire ninja."
"wow and one more question." she said.
"what?" I asked
"do we find mommy, daddy, and my brother?"
That question brought tears to my eyes. I tried to blink them away but a couple rolled down my cheek.
" not yet Kaitlyn."
"oh." she said while looking down. I sat down next to her and put her in my lap. She started to sob a little.
When she calmed down I looked down at her and saw her asleep. When I noticed her breathing was unsteady I panicked and ran all the way to the hospital while carrying her.
When I got there I kicked the doors open and ran inside.
" someone please help me my little sister isn't breathing!!" I screamed and doctors came out and took her away from me.
"miss please calm down she'll be alright." she told me and I started to calm down. I was panicking because if she dies I die and I can't let that happen. I need to find my parents and brother.
"now please wait in the waiting room until farther notice."
"okay." I told her and went to sit down. Two hours passed and no news yet. I was getting impatient so I went to the front desk.
"yes how may I help you." the nurse said
" umm yeah I wanted to know if you have gotten any notice about Kaitlyn walker?" I told her.
