Lola walked home from a shift at the diner that day, tired and honestly not really caring about a thing.

It was midnight, and who knew what the night would bring..

Maybe sketchy and mysterious people.

With the thought, she walked quicker.

Her house was only a few blocks away, which was just her luck.

What was the point of driving if you were five minutes away?

She sighs, tucking a strand of her auburn hair behind her ear as she rummages through her mess of a bag for her earphones.

When she retrieves them, she plugs it into her phone, picking one of her favorite songs that got her into the mood of walking in the night like this.

Somebody Else by no one else but her favorite band, The 1975.

She's been to two concerts of theirs already, and somehow she wishes that she could go to all of them just to hear them play their songs live at different times, and different places.

Her room was covered with their posters, and a huge one hung on her ceiling of her most favorite person out there, Matty Healy.

She hoped she would find someone like the man Matty is as a lover, maybe even as a good friend.

But in reality, there was no one really like him, and it sucked.

It was one of her day to day struggles, thinking she could never meet someone as great as Matty, not even Matty himself.

Who would you have breakfast with alive or dead?

Matty Healy.

Lola would easily tell that person her answer, her hopes and dreams.

As soon as she arrives her apartment, she sits down next to her record player and sets down i like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it on and sets the needle onto it.

She already had the album on her phone, as well as all their albums, but listening to the vinyl just brought her back in time.

She loved the feeling.

She lies her head on the wall behind her, releasing a breath in content.

Her peace is disrupted with the chime of her phone as her eyes divert to the device beside her hand.

She lets out another heavy sigh, reluctantly turning it on and staring at the bright screen that had yet another notification.

It was on instagram.
