[ 3 MONTHS LATER ]

Lola stood on the floor with her blue haired friend, Amethyst, the concert floor filled with an excited audience.

She felt the excitement building up inside of her, knowing this was her second time getting to see her favorite band again. It felt almost unreal to her.

"Hopefully Matty's in a floral shirt. I'll die happy." Amethyst glanced over at me as I nodded heavily in agreement.

"I don't disagree, actually. Or silk. Anything silk, if I see a silk shirt on that stage, I will lose it." I mused, running my fingers through my hair.

"I'm going to go get us some drinks, did you want anything?!" Amethyst spoke over the vibrant music that had rolled in.

Lola feels her soul engulfed underneath neon lights of the beautifulest meshing hues, fading in effortlessly. She nods slowly. "Get me a beer, why not."

"Lovely. Don't go anywhere, I'll be back." Amethyst smiled widely at her friend.

Lola smiled back, leaning onto the cool wall as she stood at the back of that crowd on the floor.

As she listened to her favorite, beloved band play 'It's Not Living, If It's Not With You,' she swayed side to side slightly, gasping when she accidentally bumped shoulders with the person beside her.

When she looks up to see who it could've been in this dimmed light, she gasped, holding a hand to her mouth.

With a surprised expression on her face, she had realized the familiar face of the dark haired boy who had quite the debatable and colorful comments on the 1975 on their music videos through youtube, though of course Lola would be quick to defend the art made by her favorite indie band.

He had a bandana in his hair, as he adorned black skinny jeans and a leather jacket, and she wore a pink tennis skirt and a velvet crop top.

"Hmm, last time I recalled you couldn't stand this band." Lola playfully stroked her chin in thought, squinting up at the oh so familiar tall boy who had quite some reveling moments with her through a phone screen.

"Maybe, you made some reasonable points." He laughed, beaming at the girl, just as in shock that he had ran into the same girl he fought in a comment section before he realized his love for the 1975 too.

Lola smiled, holding her hands up. "Well, I didn't want to have to be the one to tell you so, but I guess someone had to."

"Can I kiss you right now?"

"I'd like that. I'd like that a lot." Lola nodded swiftly, Josh didn't hesitate as the surge of confidence flowed through him quite in sync to the guitars to this moving song.

Josh pulled her in by the waist, his arm resting on her lower waist. As their lips molded together softly, so purely, Lola felt her heart leap as she smiled through the tender kiss.

"Beer's here! Hey—Lola? Oh! No way!" Amethyst gushed from behind them, holding two glasses of beer in her hands.

She blushed, looking down as Josh pulled away. They had locked eyes once more, before they both smiled genuinely with dilated pupils at the beautiful yet soulful stage that the band had set up.
