Red Drew ducked in front of me, placing his big hands on my knees. I could barely make out the words he was saying. "Breathe! Take deep breaths!" I tried to do it. He started breathing with me.

"Has this ever happened to you before?" he questioned.

I shook my head, trying not to burst in tears, and placed it in my palms: "Everything was going red. Please explain what's happening."

He got up and slowly paced through the room with his palm in hair. "You opened a book that was supposed to stay closed," he took a long breath, "and said the words that were supposed to be left unspoken."

My curiosity worked before my mind did: "What happens now?"

"You've basically pushed button that frees all the demons from hell," Drew explained nonchalantly.

As I absorbed the information Kathryn asked: "What about the hair?"

Drew sat down. "Well, it defines what kind of superpower you have, if you could call it so. Your hair, for example, defines that you are able to do things with your mind, like, move objects or time."

She was dumbstruck: "So, you're telling me that I can basically go back in time and prevent opening the book?"

"No. You see, first of all, you'll have to put in lots of work to actually master time moving, but the catch is that you aren't able to change major events. There's an unwritten rule that dead stay dead and life changing moments stay where they are. The main focus of the power is to travel in time to find out more significant details; to notice what was left unnoticed at first try." Drew carefully explained.

"What about moving the objects?" Kathryn continued questioning.

"It's called telekinesis. You can move objects without a physical touch, you can, for example, reshape water, throw car across the street and so on. But that has to be mastered too; you have to train the power in order to a ."

"Are you saying that we actually have to fight the demons?" Kathryn continued asking questions, it didn't seems like she would stop any time soon, but I didn't mind, I wanted to know more about what has she gotten us into.

"Unfortunately we do."

"What happens if we don't?"

"The demons will leave the world in ruins and use it as another hell. There will be no humanity anymore, they'll kill everybody. Some people will go to hell and join the destroying; some people will go to heaven and watch down on this place or what will be left of it," Drew sighed.

Kathryn shut up for a second and then spat her next question: "What are we then?"

"You see, there are angels and there are demons. We fall in-between. We aren't saints, nor are we evil. This place we call life basically divides us into them. Think of it as a trial. After the demons destroy this place, there will be no more trial. We are supposed to save it."
