ch 7

Lila's P.O.V.

I began my walk back to the packhouse and stumbled on someone on the way. Let's just say, i didn't really like that person.

"Ahh look who we have here, none other then Winter!" The vampire grinned while i growled at her.

"You don't have to growl you know, i can easily use my charms on that Alpha of yours and you would be a rouge." Delilah grinned at me. I remember that she was the reason i was beaten up by the Alpha once, didn't like her since.

"You know, why don't you just shift and we can have a normal confrontation hmm?" I grow to her ordering me around but i walked to a big tree close by and shifted, clothing myself in the clothes i brought with me.

I got out from behind the tree and stared at Delilah. I'll make some things clear, this vamp in front of me is the second daughter of the vampire leader from the group in our territory and sister of Nefeli, the vampire who would take over the group if her dad passed away. If i killed her (which i couldn't do anyway because she's stronger) a war would break out between my pack and those vampires and i will surely be dead. So instead, i decide to stay put. And ohh before i forget, she got our alpha wrapped around her bitchy little finger.

Just awesome...

After our staring competition, she suddenly smirks and opens her mouth to speak.

"Did you forget about the pack meeting that would take place right now?" She asks me and my eyes widen in realization. There is a pack meeting every beginning of the month and it happens to be the first of March today.

I run as fast as i could, not bothering to turn into my wolf. I was full in dirt and branches and when i was at the pack house, i ran inside and opened the door of the big meeting room with great force, letting the whole pack, who were at lease 200 wolves, turn their heads at me while Alpha David, Beta Nev and third in command Lucas shot me deathly glares.

"I see you are too late Lila, i was actually just talking about you. Sit." Alpha David ordered me while some packmembers, mostly she-wolves, where snickering and whispering things and i sit in the back, next to Xena, the Omega of the pack.

"You see, like i said, Lila River here found her mate, a human and she just randomly decides to tell him all our basics in the middle of the woods." I hear someone fall into laughter and David sternly looks at him, silencing the werewolf directly. I blush heavily when i notice wolfs looking at me with dirty faces.

Lucas, oldest of the three and third in command, decides to trow himself in it. "We don't even know if we can trust him and this little sixteen years old spills almost every secret this forest holds in his roots." I can hear loud agreements and see people nod their heads furiously. Then, out of nowhere someone shouts.

"Make her an Omega because of her mistakes!" My breath hitches and the room bursts into chaos and everyone is arguing.

"Yeah that little bitch deserves it!"

"She has alway's been weaker towards humans! She got a dozen of them as friends!"

"It's time someone said it! For me she has alway's been the Omega!"

"she's a shame to our pack!"

"SILENCE." David shouts in his Alpha voice and everyone becomes quiet.

"That offer... Will be considered." My eyes widen when he said the sentence and he looks me right in the eyes.

Is this guy serious? Moon Goddess help me...

After the meeting i stand up, but am directly pushed down to the floor again by people bumping against me, shooting me angry glares and i look down in shame. 'This will be some getting used to...' My wolf whimpers and i agree in shame. I look at Xena and somehow see.. Relieve? 'She's relieved that she wont be the Omega anymore when the Alpha says yes to the plan.' Winter growls and i glare at Xena, causing her to glare back, totally not scared of me anymore.
