I slowly opened my eyes, taking in the sunlight that slipped past my curtains. Stretching my thin legs out I climbed out of my bed, running my hand through my pink soft, silky hair. I looked around my room, boxes piled in almost every corner. I'd moved to the new house a month after school started up, meaning I was somewhat of a transfer. I had been living in America, but we found a good house for cheap in Tokyo. I'd been the one who got to decide where we moved to, so I chose the place closest to the university I wanted to go to once I graduated.

I heard a knock on my door, my father pushing it open and smiling to me. He wore thick brimmed glasses and had caramel colored hair. He'd been born with orange eyes, unlike my mother's, who's was yellow. Hence the reason mine are red I'm guessing. It wasn't weird to find unnatural colored eyes and hair. It had been this way starting with my parents parent's generation. Me and my mother were the only ones to ever have weird colors for hair. Hers was a beautiful purple, like flowers freshly grown. Mine was the color of bubble gum, which still was okay.

"You need to get ready, the bus comes in twenty minutes. Think you'll be ready by then?" I shrugged.

"Do you think since it's my first day, can you give me a ride to school on your way to work? Only for today, I promise." He smiled, his eyes squinting whenever he was happy.

"Only today, okay? My little girl is trying to stay in the nest for as long as she can..." I chuckled, rolling my eyes.

"I have to get ready, so I would kindly ask you to leave." He nodded, pretending to wipe tears.

"Understood." With that he walked out, closing the door quietly behind him.

I hadn't had to search through boxes since I'd set out some clothes the night before. I wore my black skirt with white stripes, along with my blue button up and white sweatshirt around my waist. I tied a ribbon around the collar and pulled on my tennis shoes. They were new and smelled fresh, not to mention they were as white as snow.

Exiting my room I climbed down the stairs, meeting my mother in the kitchen, who still looked asleep.

"I'm heading out mom, love you."

"Love you too sweetheart." She gave me a hug before heading back to the room where she'd fall asleep once more. My poor father had a fight with her last night. Though it was minor, she refuses to talk to him yet. She wont even take a glance towards him. Her patience and concentration are amazing. I cant go a second without speaking to my father or mother.

"Dear we are heading out, see you tonight."

"Bye mom."

"By Satsuki, see you when you get home. Love you." I chuckled as my dad tilted his head.

"She's still mad?" I nodded.

"Yeah, definitely." Shrugging we left the house, climbing into our car.

My father worked as a shelf stacker in a store, only for now until they unpack and settle down. He pulled up to the gate, hugging me as I opened the door and stepped out. Classes had started no more than a minute ago, which still meant I was late. Shutting my door I jogged to the front door, entering the building and heading to the main office.

Opening the door I smelled a mix of different flowers. Two people were seated at the desk, one was with another person, while the other was open. Walking up to the desk I smiled, her eyes looking at me, a smile gathering on her face.

"What may I do for you today?"

"My names Satsuki Momoi, I'm a new student." She widened her smile, joy in her eyes.

"Well Miss Satsuki, I will get all your stuff, so stay put." I nodded, taking a seat in one of the chairs in the corner.

The door swung open fast out of no where, almost clipping my head if I hadn't of seen it coming. I sat up, heart pounding. My first day and I almost got killed. Anger swelled in me as I looked at who almost hurt me. But almost instantly any sign of anger was switched with fear. A man had almost hurt me, his height was too big. He almost was twice my damn height. But I wasn't going to let him get away with it.

Standing up I went to tap on his shoulder when the woman came back with papers in her hand.

"Aww, I got them." I nodded, still watching the man as I walked over to her. The man turned around, looked around and then left. Who was that man and what is his deal?

"Do you need me to show you around?" I shook my head. This school was no different from America's schools.

I had found my locker easily, though I had trouble opening it. I played with the lock, but no matter what I couldn't seem to get it open. That is until a hand reached out and opened it. Turning I saw who I think was a woman. She had a somewhat flat chest and short hair. Though, the skirt she wore gave away the girl thing. Unless she was really a he who loved skirts and female clothes. A trans?

"Hello, my names Riku. You new here?" I nodded.

"I'm pleased to meet you! My name is Satsuki, Satsuki Momoi." She smiled at me. At least there were some decent nice people.
