The Dream That Came True (Doctor Who fanfiction)

Chapter 3

Chapter 3:

    The Doctor cleared his throat "We accidentally came here, it was a mistake." He gravely said. He headed into the TARDIS with Amy and Rory. I couldn't miss this opportunity.  This is what I've been waiting for my whole life! I threw the doors open.

    "Wait." The trio turned around, waiting for an explanation. "Take me with you. Please." Amy shot the doctor a look. They walked a few feet away and started whispering. I just waited.

   "How old are you? Won't your parents miss you?" Amy asked me, as the other two turned around.

    "I am 13 years old, and I... um I don't have parents..." I started to tear up, and cursed myself for doing so. I couldn't cry in front of the Doctor, the legendary Doctor.

    " Well I guess since no one would miss you..." Rory said.

    "RORY!!!" Amy and the Doctor said in unison.

    "Well, I guess you can come with us, um..."

    "Oh, my name is Clarissa." I smiled.

    I headed into the room the TARDIS made me. I was getting dressed for the planet Varina.  It was a hot planet so I grabbed some shorts and a tank top.  I raced down the corridor. This is my first planet! I thought. I skipped down the stairs to Amy, Rory, and the Doctor.

    "Let's go! I finally get to set foot on a NEW planet! I'm so excited!" I screeched. The Doctor smiled, and danced around the controls while pushing buttons and pulling levers. The TARDIS jerked forwards. I felt felt a wierd tingling sensation as I momentarily blacked out. I became dizzy as I suddenly saw random events flashing before me. I almost fell over as I reclaimed my vision. I saw the doctor staring at me, at the corner of his eye. I smiled reassuringly as I ran to the doors.

    "So! My first planet!" I said, as I opened the TARDIS doors. I was welcomed with the warm air and tropical scent. We landed on a dark violet beach with crystal blue waters. I smiled as I kicked off my sandals, and headed towards the waves. "Last one in the water is a rotten egg!" The Doctor bolted out the door with the couple behind him. The ocean took about fifteen minutes to reach. I usually would be out of breath by now... Sadly, the Doctor beat me.

    "Hey! No fair! Your legs are longer than mine" I complained as I splashed him with water. He playfully splashed back. I swam out farther, I felt something brush against my leg. Eyes full of fear, I was pulled under.

    "ClARISSA!!!" The Doctor screamed, swimming in her direction. He frantically swam underneath, searching the dark abyss of the sea. He couldn't find her. After ten minutes, he became desperate. 

    "Doctor! What happened?" Rory asked, as he swam towards him. 

    "I lost her! I JUST MET HER! WHY!!! IT'S ALL MY FAULT!" He screamed, to nothing in particular. He had tears running down his cheek. Suddenly, a body resurfaced behind him. It was Clarissa! The Doctor looked behind him, and his eyes widened. He frantically rushed towards her. He carried her and swam to shore, with all his might. 

    He layed her on the soft, purple sand. "Rory! Your a nurse, save her!" The Doctor yelled.

    "I... I'm sorry but doctor there is no way a human could have lasted that long..." He explained, with watery eyes.

    "You have to try! RORY PLEASE!" He cried. Rory crawled over to Madison and started CPR. After five long minutes, he checked her pulse. His eyes widened to what he felt. He restarted the heart, but...

    "Doctor, she has two hearts."
