3rd P.O.V.

A tall, lean brown haired boy walks into the coffee shop, his baby blue eyes sparkling as he walked to the end of the line. This was Kenneth Jacobs, son of the all important model Rosia Jacobs that had given birth to her son out of wedlock. The identity was of his father was still unknown to Kenneth, but his mother always said that his father was a proud, handsome man with the personality of a king.

Kenneth, Ken or Kenny to his best friends if he had any, stepped forward, intelligent eyes roaming over the menu above the heads of the workers. Finally, it was his turn. He stepped forward and opened his mouth to give the barista his order. "One large Minty Chocolate Chip Frap-" but was cut off when someone shoved him from behind.

He stumbled to the side, bumping into someone else with long, honey colored hair. "I'm s-sorry!" He stuttered, hands fluttering around uselessly as he looked anywhere but the blonde in front of him. "It's alright, sir." The blonde told him, making him finally look up to her face.

When he did, he flinched at her intense and calculating stormy eyes. Her eyes weren't the only striking thing about her, but they did make the biggest impression. The second thing he noticed was the badly done grey streak in her princess curled hair. She had on the typical Starbucks uniform, black collared shirt, black cap, and green apron, all of which had the standard logo on them. On her right, his left, shoulder was a white name tag, Annabeth written in small, straight font. The only thing that wasn't standard was her white skinny jeans and black converse.

Her eyes glance over his shoulder, narrowing in on something behind him. Suddenly, Kenneth heard loud shouting, the voice sounding rather feminine. He turned around, facing his back to the blonde princess, to see the dark haired barista verbally giving a 6ft muscled man a dressing down. Her face was scrunched up in anger, dark green eyes burning, and the rather intimidating muscle man that looked like a body builder was quivering at her glare. When she finished berating him, she pointed at Kenny, and he felt himself shrunk as they both walked over to him.

The man was a good 3 inches taller than him with arms as thick as his neck, and the small girl next to him was probably half a foot shorter than Muscle Man. They didn't talk, and a rather awkward silence overtook them. Tiny Barista Girl elbowed him in the side, and mumbled something that he didn't quite catch. Muscle Man flinched away from her touch and spoke in a gruff voice, "I'm sorry for bumping into you, sir."

Kenneth, in a state of overcoming shock, simply nodded. Muscle Man lumbered away, leaving the coffee shop with his shoulders hunched. Tiny Barista Girl turned from where she had been glaring at his retreating form, and faced Kenneth. As Kenneth looked at her, he found himself thinking how Angelic she looked when she wasn't angry or shaming someone. "I'm really sorry about my cousin, sir. He might look tough, but he really is a pushover..... most of the time." She mumbled the last part, but Kenneth's excellent hearing caught it.

"Now, what would you like to drink, sir?" She questioned as she walked over to the counter, flashing him a sparkling white smile. He sighed as he glanced back up at the menu, trying to recall what he wanted. "Um, could I please get a large Mint Chocolate Chip Frappuccino, extra whipped cream, and easy on the mint please." He gave her his order, watching as she skilfully typed it in and gave the paper to Annabeth, the blonde with princess curls.

Kenneth looked at her uniform, which was identical to Annabeth's, but she was wearing grey boot cut jeans, and her shoes were black combat boots with the laces pulled tight. Her hair was a dark black, and seemed to be stuck between wavy and curly, and the ends stopped just above the hem of her jeans, sea green eyes that seemed to sparkle, and tanned skin. She turned back to him, and he looked at her name tag, which had 'Angel' written in slightly large, and slightly curly font.

"Your drink should be done soon, sir." Kenneth nodded then walked over to small booth near the window, and gazed out the window. The girls were pretty, no doubt about it, but they didn't seem like his type. Angel seemed to be like the awesome sister, funny and kind, but protective and kind of a mother hen to everyone. And Annabeth seemed like that girl in college that wouldn't let anyone get in her way, cold and calculating, the one that would take a job to just have some extra cash because she got a scholarship into the best college in the world.

As he sat there musing about what the girls were like, two teenage boys walked in, both looked like troublemakers. Not the class clown troublemakers, but the punk troublemaker and his best friend that follows him around and beats anybody that says the wrong thing.

The taller one had midnight black hair with tanned skin, and harsh sea green eyes that seemed to be made from ice. His hair was shaved on the sides, and his top was long with it gelled into messy spikes and the ends dyed a dark blue. He wore a black shirt with the sleeves ripped off to reveal some tattoos and a few scars. He had what looked like a small trident tattooed just under his ear going to the back of his neck. He had on dark grey skinny jeans, worn and ripped in some places, with a pair dark and smudged combat boots.

The shorter, and younger looking, troublemaker looked a bit like him, with midnight hair that looked like he just rolled out of bed. He had on an under shirt that stuck to him like a second skin, black skinny jeans, a black and grey checkered shirt jacket tied around his waist, black eyes, stark white skin, with a tattoo on the inside of his left arm. His shoes were simple, black high top sneakers that looked too expensive for him to afford.

There were a few similarities in the boys clothes, they both had black stud earrings, the taller one had one ear pierced and his friend had both pierced, they both had on fingerless gloves, and neither of them looked very happy to be there.

They were looking around the mostly empty shop, the only people were them, Kenneth, and the barista girls. Speaking of the barista girls, they had heard the little jingle on the bell that announced customers, and had went to greet them. Angel had a large cup in her small hand, his name written in large, blocky print. "Kenneth Jacobs!" Angel called his name, her hand outstretched with his order.

He stood, noticing with a grimace that they both taller than him, even if one of them looked a little younger than him. He squared his shoulders and walked up to Angel, giving her his cash and took his drink silently. He sure hoped to god that these guys weren't planning on robbing the coffee shop, because he didn't think he would win against them in a fight.

Kenneth was so lost in thought that he didn't notice both of the teens walking over to him. He did however, notice then harsh tap on his shoulder. He looked up, and was surprised to find himself staring into icy green eyes that seemed to be staring into his soul. "You forgot to tell her thanks for the drink," spoke a rough voice, which seemed to come from behind the green eyed man in front of him.

"Nico, Percy, don't worry about it!" Angel's worried voice insisted. So that's their names, Kenneth thought to himself.

Green eyed dude frowned, turning to face the short ravenette that had materialized next to him. "Why not, Ana?" His voice was different from the rough one, his was smooth and deep. "Because not every guy that doesn't thank me for doing my job needs to cornered, Perc!" She explained, her voice tired.

Percy, the green eye dude, frowned more, but gave in to Angel's pleading face. He stepped back, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and kissing the top of her head before going over to Annabeth. He chuckled at the glare on her face, grabbing her face and pulling her in for a deep kiss.

Kenneth looked away, not wanting to watch that. His sapphire orbs went back to the other two, watching as Nico, as that was the other name that Kenneth had heard, smiled and pecked Angel on her nose. He pushed back her hair to behind her ear to reveal a tattoo matching Percy's trident in the same spot. Nico bent down and pressed his lips against her tattoo.

Angel smiled at him, more of a crooked smirk, and pulled out a hair clip. She pulled his hair back to black eyebrows, one of them arching up, and high cheek bones. Angel put the clip in his hair, and brought him down to kiss her full on the lips.

Kenneth smiled to himself as the couples continued to kiss one another, and walked out. He began the long walk home, occasionally sipping his large frappuccino while musing over the events he had seen in the café. Angel and Percy must have been twins, their features were nearly identical except for Angel's being more feminine, and Nico and Angel were a couple. As he thought of how they weren't his type, he was also not their type.

They apparently liked the bad boys, and not the loner pretty boys like himself.
