CHAPTER 1:
"I can't freaking believe her" Mariah yelled into the phone.
"It's gonna be ok" her bestfriend Ashley said.
"Whatever" Mariah said.
"I got to go byee girl deuces" Ashley said.
"Bye" Mariah said with a sigh.
Mariah toss the her phone on the bed. She couldn't believe what her mom wanted her to do. Did she even think about the consequences that could happen. She look at her bed and saw tons of homework she needed to get to.
"Whatever" she said to herself and flopped back onto her bed and fell asleep.
Next Morning
Mariah woke up to the sound of gospel singing and the sound of sizzling on the pan. Her grandmother which she called grad mama always singed. She said it lefted the soul.
Mariah headed into the bathroom to do her hygiene. She put her curly black hair into a bun nd flat iron her bangs.
She went to her closet. She picked out her favorite pair of light blue skinny jeans with a white and black mickey mouse shirt with her black converse. She added a cross necklace grabbed her bag for school and headed downstairs of their little apartment.
"Morning suga" grand mama said
"Mornin" Mariah said as she sat down in her chair
BREAKING NEWS!!!
A teenage boy found dead in Gateswell high school. The body has not be identified yet. We are still searching.
"Oh my jesus"!! grand mama exclaimed
Mariah just kept quite. She did know who the person was.
