Emily listened to her stomach.
Glurr....Glurrrr
GLURRR - BLAURRRRRRRRRRRRRR.........
Okay....the steak did not really fill much of her stomach....apparently,the steak's size already told her that since the second she laid eyes on it.
She looked up at Jake and wondered how much the steak cost.....
......two bucks?
No.Not that cheap... After all,its a FIVE-STAR restaurant.....so it will be more expensive.....maybe it cost about......
Five bucks......right?
She hold her stomach with one hand and grabbed the glass of wine with another,still calculating what the cost of the steak might be.
She stayed silent for a while,drawing circles on the glass with her finger nails,watching Jake slice his food with an unbelievable speed.She can somehow see that he have a bigger appetite than her....wait a second,didn't he already had his dinner?
"You don't like deserts?" Jake questioned Emily upon seeing her not taking an effort to answer if she would like to have deserts.
He looked up as he brought the sliced beef into his mouth with the silver forks. "This restaurant is famous with their strawberry and blueberry tarts for deserts."
Sounds like he comes here often.... "As long as it is a desert,i will take it.......well......its just....." pausing for a while,she finally manage to spell out her words, "You didn't have your dinner yet?"
Jake swallowed . "Yah."
"Why?" She frowned,slightly tilting her head and a few strands of hair came into contact with her cheeks.
"Because," Jake left the forks at the side of the plate and stood up,walking toward Emily,he stopped and kneel down beside her.
He tucked the strands of hairs on Emily's face to the back of her ears and looked into her eyes,starring into her magically beautiful ocean-blue eyes for a while,he continued, " i was waiting for you,Emily."
