"Come on,eat!"Jake urged when he saw Emily stared at the food blankly.

They are now in a restaurant,just ten minutes ago,Emily opened her front door to discard away some of her old clothings and had already thought that Jake ran alway crying his ass out as he got scared by her Gladice.

She opened her door and did not realise that Jake was lying down beside the door,sound asleep until she was about to open the door when she came back from her trip to the garbage bin.Jake had woken up and saw her walking towards her house,he thought she was really not home when he arrived.

Maybe its better to let him assume that she was outside when he came knocking on the door a few hours ago.At least he wouldn't scream at her like he did over the phone earlier that day.She just have to come out with a little lies,and thats it,simple as that.

Emily smiled awkwardly at Jake and nodded her head before she dug in.

Mmm...the steak taste like.....a yummy....um....yummy......whats that word?

it taste like a yummy........well,....a yummy....steak?

Whatever,she know she's lame,so what?

Its already ten o'clock at night,Why does this guy still bring her out for dinner at such a late hour?When he dragged her into the lift,she can't even escape from him because he placed his freaking arms on her shoulders,he did it ever so naturally,as if he is already used to doing so.Some of her neighbours saw them and gave her either a "wow!who is he?your boyfriend?so sexy!" look or a "yum!can i grab his ass and kiss his pacs?" look.

Emily just rolled her eyes and swallow back a laugh at there responds.Her neighbours may be a little too old for dirty wannabes,but either way,she loves them because they are always so sweet to her family and herself.They are the ones who her sisters talked to when they met difficulties...its not that her sisters don't want to talk to her,its just that her sisters know that she's too young to understand their problems...whatever.She chuckled to herself at her thought...Which kind of surprised the guy in front of her right now.

"Hm?What's so funny?"Jake look at her curiously with an eyebrow raised.

None of your freaking business!

"Um,,,nothing...just thinking."Emily took another bite of the steak.

All her life,its her first time to eat at this kind of high quality restaurant,which explains why she don't really know how to slice up the stupid steak with her stupid knife.She thought that she will actually run out of energy and die before she could bring the one-centimeter of meat into her mouth.

She finally gave up with all the slicing and cutting.

She threw her fork and knife onto the table,rolled up her sleeves and grabbed the remaining steak with her bare hands.

She then took a mouthful bite....

...Mmmm!!! thats more like it.One word-satisfying! 

She closed her eyes and smiled,munching on the steak.

Jake dropped his jaw in surprise upon seeing the image of Emily,he started to laugh with his mouth closed,but eventually ,he could no longer control himself and burst out laughing, "Does it taste better that way?!"

"Try it yourself!"Emily said,taking another mouthful bite.She finished the entire steak within fifteen secondsShe finally opened her eyes,Jake is watching her with a smile spreading across his face.

"You have a big appitite today!"He said but suddenly wanted to know why Emily was late for their date earlier on,"Emily,do you like me?"

Emily raised her eyebrows,"Kind of."

"Really?"

"Yeah"

 "Yah?"

"Yah."

"Then,where did you go just now?I thought we already agreed that we will meet up?"He looked at her,a little hurt.

"Sorry,have to help my sisters to deliver some stuff so...."She said.

She did not lie,she really have to help her sisters get some things....

"I see...next time,you have to inform me when you cannot show up for any of our meet-ups,okay?"

Huh?! There's still a next time?....

"Al..alright.....but i thought i messaged you?"

"You did...but i don't understand." He did recieve a message from her but....what language was that?He doesn't even get what she meant.

"You-what?you don't understand?! What's so confusing about the message? Did i type something wrongly?"Emily asked.

Jake took out his phone and showed her the message ,"What's this?"

Emily looked at the message she sent :

J,I f sum suf,kan go,ttul.

"Tell me what do you mean by this."Jake looked at her,a little angry.

He don't belief that she can actually say that there are these kind of english words.

"Um,i dont know what's so difficult to understand about it. What i said is,

'Jake,i have some stuff,can't go,talk to you later.'"

Emily looked at Jake with a what's-wrong-with-it expression.

"Oh,i'm sorry,i guess i don't know this kind of short-cut writing....I studies in England,you see, and i rarely come back so i think i have clearly missed some small things around here."Jake lowered his head, feeling a little embarrassed upon realising how dumb he is.

Is he stupid?!

He mentally punched himself.

"Yeah,apparently,you really did miss some stuffs here...by the way,its 'short-form' writing,not 'short-cut' writing."Emily said,smiling to him.

Actually,for a second,Emily thought that this guy is kind of....cute.What's his name again?She did not even called him by his name once..is it Jake?Yeah,she's sure its Jake.

"Next time,you will have to call me."Jake said,stretching his hand onto the table and covering them on top of hers.

"But what if i disturbed you when you are working?"Emily felt his warm hands on top of hers and for the first time,she did not feel like him touching her is a serious crime.

"Its alright,as long as its you,you can call me anytime."Jake said,smiling."If you are done with the food,we can order deserts."

He know he barely touched his steak,but its okay for him to be hungry,Anyway,sometimes he may accidentally worked non-stop all day,and have one meal instead of three,he's already used to it.But Emily's different,she's the lady that he loves,he will do anything,give anything to protect her.
