Important Werewolf Information:

Silver cannot kill a werewolf. It can cause pain and discomfort, however.
Once a werewolf, always a werewolf. The 'curse' cannot be broken.
In their animal form werewolves can communicate with a type of telepathy- inside their pack. The Alpha can use this to locate and track members of their pack.
Werewolves in a pack have a sort of psychic link that bonds them together. If one werewolf dies the pack senses the death.
Werewolves are virtually immortal because of their constant regeneration of their physical tissue. As such they have longer lives than humans.
A werewolf can be killed by any wound that completely destroys the heart or brain, they can also die of sever blood loss- this only happens when there is not enough blood to keep the body functioning. Despite their healing gene, werewolves can scar. This only happens with what would be considered a fatal wound, to a human. They can also die if you rip them apart. (Cue vampires evil laugh)
Werewolves do not only turn on the full moon. Nor do they have to turn on the full moon as they get older. A werewolf can change his form at will whenever he wants to, at day or not. However, the full moon does bring out werewolves animalistic nature, as such they are more in touch with their primal side and the more dominate wolves tempers are sky high. While a werewolf does not have to change during the full moon that is when they are at their strongest.
Very few werewolves are able to partially shift, i.e. only grow their fangs, claws, wolf eyes, etc. This is more so a trait found in the older, more dominate wolves, such as, Alpha's, Beta's, and occasionally Gamma's and Delta's.
Werewolves are naturally warm.
If a child is born to one human and one werewolf the child is a werewolf.
Werewolves have a heightened sense of smell, hearing and eyesight. They are also faster, stronger, more agile, and have quicker reflexes than humans.
Werewolves are born with one mate, chosen for them by the moon goddess, though finding their mate is very rare. As such, werewolves generally tend to take another as their mate, goddess give or not.
A werewolf 'marks' the person they're with- bites the juncture between the shoulder and neck- that marks them as a mate. Once a werewolf has a mate they cannot reproduce with anyone but their mate and sex with anyone else isn't satisfying at all. Werewolves have a heightened sense of sexual desire and greater sexual stamina. Once a werewolf 'marks' their mate they are presented to the pack as a mated couple. It is the equivalent of being married in human culture.
A mated pair can have their bond broken by the alpha in a ceremony. It's a painful physical and emotional experience so wolves have to be sure before they mate.
Werewolves taking a vampire as a mate is rare as they are considered enemies throughout the supernatural world. A werewolf can take a human as a mate, as when 'marked' they become immortal.
Though it is possible to have a mate of another species, each race tends to look to their own kind for mates. This is not for any specific reason, it is just a thing.
The alpha's word is law.
Alphas are usually male. They can be called the Alpha or the Ulfric.
The female alpha, if there is one, is usually the Alpha's mate, she is called his Lupa or Luna.
Reproduction: when the mother to be is a werewolf twins are more common than a single birth. When the mother is vampiric or a human a single birth is more common.
Sex between two werewolves is more often than not, quite frenzied as their are part animal. They can, however, be calmer and gentler.
Most couples who mark each other as mates either have sex during the marking or after as it awakens the wolf nature. This does not mean it always happens.
Wolves can engage in sex while in animal form though only if one or both of the wolves are male.
When a wolf marks their mate it is customary for the other wolf to mark them back as a way of accepting their new status as a mated couple.
A pack is usually made up of around five to six hundred wolves.

Pack Hierarchy:

Alpha
Leader of the pack. The title is handed down father to son, and only switches bloodlines if the previous Alpha is killed or unable to lead the pack, and has no heir, in which case the Beta of the pack takes over. However if the Alpha does have an heir but the child is not of age the elders of the pack will rule over the packs wolves until the child comes of age, which varies depending on pack traditions, where upon they will take over the pack. If an Alpha dies or is unable to rule the pack and does have children of age, the children being female, and a son whom is not of age then the oldest female child will take over the pack until the male child comes of age. If said female finds their mate before the male child comes of age and the pack they rule over is stronger then females pack, the two packs will merge temporarily and the mate will take control of the pack until the male child is old enough to rule the pack. The Alpha can be challenged for the title, the winner gets the pack and the loser is usually either banished from the pack or killed. Alphas are usually dominate over their mates and ten times more possessive and protective then normal werewolves. Alpha's have increased sexual desire and greater sexual stamina. The Alpha is generally five times the size of a normal, non-were, wolf.
Luna
The title given to an Alpha's mate. Luna's are considered the mothers of the pack they are generally more emotional and caring, though this is not always the case. An Alpha and his pack can last around five to ten years without out a Luna. It is usually less that that but because the werewolves in the story are practically immortal I thought to make the time difference longer. Luna's are, aside from Alpha's, the most important members in a pack. Most packs are not efficiently run without a Luna and usually start to fall apart without one. Once an Alpha takes a Luna she is the only one who can calm him down and control him. Luna's are generally four times the size of normal, non-were, wolves.
Beta
Beta's are the second in command and are responsible for running the pack when the Alpha is busy or has to leave the territory and the training of the packs wolves. If the previous Alpha is killed or unable to lead the pack, and has no heir, the Beta of the pack will take over. The Beta is generally four times the size of a normal, non-were, wolf.
Gamma
Gamma's are the third in command and usually work in the cells with the Alpha, Gamma's are generally three times the size of a normal, non-were, wolf.
Delta
Delta's are in charge of protecting the packs Luna, and can usually be found by her side with numerous fighters hidden in the surrounding area. The Delta is generally three times the size of a regular, non-were, wolf.
Fighters
Fighters are generally twice to three times the size of regular, non-were, wolves. They are guards to the Luna and help with the training of other pack wolves. They are usually seen guarding and patrolling the packs territory, protecting it and the other members from threats. They can also be seen guarding the prisoners in the cells.
Subordinates
Are regular werewolves and make up the majority of the pack. They are usually the same size as normal, non-were, wolves. Though it is possible for subordinate wolves to get up to the same size as the fighter wolves of the pack.
Omegas
Are the same size, or smaller, as normal, non-were, wolves and are the calming influence among the pack. They are responsible for breaking up fights and help the wolves keep their tempers under control. A single Omega, usually a childhood friend, is assigned to the Alpha and will follow him almost everywhere. This is so that he may calm the Alpha when said Alpha loses control of their wolf. The Alphas personal omega will step down and move on to the job of normal omegas once the Alpha takes a mate, and will step back up into the position when the Alpha's mate is seriously injured or dies.
Slaves
Are runt sized wolves, they are basically Cinderella's, cooking and cleaning for the pack. Most pack abuse their slaves physically and emotionally, and some unmated males will use them for sexual purposes when sluts are unavailable. Slaves can be human.
Rouges
Are wolves who do not have a pack, whether by choice, outcasted or their pack has been destroyed by other rouges. Rouges are considered enemies of pack wolves and are killed on sight if on a packs territory. Rouges can go rabid. This is when a rouge's wolf takes full control and goes on a frenzy, killing everything in sight. They are distinguished from non-rabid rouges by their fur which is greasy and dull, as well as their eyes which go red. Rouges do not live to destroy or take over pack lands, though some do. It is possible for a rouge to go to an Alpha and present a plea to join the pack.

Important Vampire Information:
Vampires can go out during the day and are not afraid of holy items. Holy water and garlic has no effect on them either.
While vampires can go out during the day, they are not as powerful during the day as they are at night.
Vampires are immortal.
A vampire can be killed by any wound that completely destroys the heart or brain. They can also die if you rip them apart. (Cue werewolves evil laugh)
If a child is born to one human and one vampire the child will be a vampire.
Vampires are naturally cold.
Werewolf blood holds more energy than human blood and thus is more satisfying to vampires. Same applies for all were's.
Vampires can eat regular food but it holds no nutrition for them.
Vampires do not need to feed on human blood. They can feed off animals. This, however, is not as satisfying for them as human or shifter blood.
The blood of witches and faeries is also stronger for vampires and can be addictive.
Vampires have a heightened sense of smell, hearing and eyesight. They are also faster, stronger, more agile, and have quicker reflexes than humans.
Vampires have a heightened sense of sexual desire and stamina.
The mate and reproductive areas are almost the same as for a werewolf. However, vampire mates have only a ten percent chance of reproduction. The male vampire has special chemicals in their venom and when injected, through a bite, into he females system, the chances of reproduction goes up to sixty percent. The chemical is only present in the vampires system after mating, and only affects the true or chosen mate.

Important Information On Other Species

Witches:
Witches are human but merely have special abilities. Telling a witch you are a shifter/were/vampire is forbidden.
Witches are not naturally evil, though if they steer towards dark magic they can become twisted and evil.
Witches are not more powerful than vampires and/or were's. If a vampire or were wants to kill them they will succeed. Magic does not match against animal nature. It will protect them temporarily but not long term.
If a witch is changed into a vampire or were they lose their magical abilities and only have the abilities of their new species.
Spells can backfire.
Unlike other species witches do not have an extended life.

Elves:
Elves are slightly taller than humans, but have a much lighter build. They
lack the strength and stamina of the other races, but are far more agile, both
in body and mind. Elves are easily identifiable by their stereotypical pointy ears.
There are many Elven subspecies, woodland, wild, oceanic, hills, and subterranean.
Elves are often whimsical and admirers of nature and beauty. Culturally,
Elves are quite fond of music, most commonly stringed and woodwind
instruments, and art.
Elves are superb mages and thieves, but have at best fair talent as warriors or priests.

Elves resist charm spells most effectively, due to their magical nature.
However, they are burned by the touch of iron, and so are barred from the use
of iron or steel in their adventuring careers.
Elves are notoriously hard to spot, as they are quite adapt at hiding and sneaking around unnoticed.
They may see in the dark with infravision.
