Fading

You Think Back To The Sunny Days,

Being Little Kids Who Just Ran And Played.

We don't stay as kids for ever,

We Grow Up And Become More Clever.

Those We Shared Memories With Start To Fade,

Being Young You Thought More Memories Would Be Made.

It Hurts A Lot To Lose A Friend,

Remember Saying Friends Until The End?

Now Getting Older You Begin To See,

You Won't Ever Express Much Glee.

Those Monsters You Thought Were Scary As A Kid,

Are Nothing Compared To What Other People Did.

The Really Strong Bond That You Held Onto Tight,

And No Matter How Severe The Battle You'd Put Up A Fight.

That's How Much The Memories Ment,

Sometimes You Need To Find Someone And Vent.

These Memories Just Become More Fragile,

And Soon Enough Your Future Will Unravel.

That You Don't Need To Forget To Move On,

Those Memories Are So Important And They Can't Be Gone.

Now You Ask Yourself What You Did Wrong,

It Hurts I Know But Soon You'll See.

Your Friend Matured, And So Will We,

When You Grow Up You'll Be Friends Again.

Because A Legacy Will Never Come To An End,

Just Remember One Big Thing.

Which Would Be What The Faded Memories Mean.
