Warning: eh, some profanities.

As you were typing your essay for school on your laptop, you heard the sound of your brother's friends laughing. Damn, are they loud, you thought. His friends consisted of Alex Aiono, who you thought was actually pretty tolerable, Ethan Dolan and, the person you despised the most, Grayson Dolan. He was always being so cocky whenever he was around you. He had a loop sided grin that you just wanted to smack off his face. Let's just say, he wasn't on your good side.

Laughter rang through your ears, and you groaned. God, could they get any louder?

Sighing, you decided writing your essay would just have to wait. While you were putting your stuff away, your stomach grumbled. You huffed, realizing you would have to go to the kitchen, meaning you would have to face...him. You didn't exactly want him to ruin your day.

You fixed your messy, curly (a/n: change it if you have it straight or wavy, etc.) hair. Sure, you may not like 2/3 of his friends, but you most definitely did not want to look homeless. With one last sigh, you made your way downstairs.

As you stepped on the last set of stairs, your breath hitched in your throat. There, stood a shirtless Grayson. A blush was creeping up your neck onto your cheeks, so you tried to cover it up. Grayson;however, saw you and sent a wink your way. Your cheeks heated up even more, and he smirked, feeling accomplished. You were trying to not let him get the best of you, so you just rolled your eyes and made your way to the kitchen.

"Chase, where are the car keys?" You asked as you shuffled around the house. "Chase?" Furrowing your eyebrows in confusion, you went to look for him. "Chase?" Sure, your brother may be sixteen, but he was such an irresponsible person; you prayed for whoever became his girlfriend.

"Dammit," you muttered. "Chase left with Ethan and Alex. They said they would be back in a bit." That voice startled you. You turned around only to find the person you dreaded to see the most, Grayson.

"Oh," was all you could say. "Um, thanks. I guess I'll be on my way now, so.." As you were leaving the room, Grayson grabbed your wrist and pulled you to his chest. "I know you don't like my presence." Your breathing became shaky, you felt like your legs were going to give out anytime soon and, to say the worst, you liked the way Grayson was holding you close to him.

"I-I don't...What?" Deep down, you liked Grayson. But, you didn't want to deal with those feelings or the consequences that would come if you admitted your feelings for him.

Grayson looked into your eyes, almost as if he were to be staring into your soul. Something came over you, something like a strong feeling. You felt like you were soon going to faint, like all the oxygen was being taken away from you.

You broke away from Grayson, not being able to bare with the feeling. You rushed out of the apartment, making your way to the elevator.

Was it a bad idea running to an elevator while you felt like your whole world spinning? Yes. Was it a bad idea getting the elevator that didn't work well? Yes. Was something bad going to happen? Yes, most likely. But, it was the only place were you could have alone time.
As you stepped into the elevator, you also felt someone's presence behind you.

Grayson.

You mentally groaned. Why can't he leave me alone, you thought.
