{This chapter will be in Ariana's point of view.}
It's been two months since I saw him. My handsome boyfriend, Jai Brooks. You might know him from a YouTube group called 'The Janoskians'. He's back in Australia, while I'm out doing my normal promotion for 'Sam & Cat' and rehearsing for my tour, 'The Listening Sessions'. I've had allot on my mind lately, but it's mostly been Jai. Do you think he misses me as much as I miss him? What if he met another girl over in Australia? Should I be worried?
I'm so stressed out. Thinking about Jai, promoting 'Sam & Cat' and rehearsing for tour? It's allot harder than you think. I really don't know what to do.
I finally finish off a day of press, I put down my bags and shut the door behind me. I slowly walk over to the couch, cover myself with a blanket and open up my Mac. I scroll through my twitter feed, but nothing too important that I should know. I get a notification at the bottom of my screen. I glance at it and catch it saying "1 new message from Jai Brooks!'.
God how I was excited! I smile softly and open up the message.
"Hey babe, look, me and the boys have been busy lately. Sorry I couldn't message you earlier. Just wanted to let you know that I love you, and I'll be home soon ;)"
Reading that made me feel so happy. He called me babe, for the first time in weeks. Typical Jai using the winky face at the end of his sentence. What a cutie.
As I hear the door open, I slowly put down my laptop on the table in front of me and turn my head to find Frankie standing at the door. He tells me that everything will be okay with Jai, and not to worry. Knowing that my brother cares, means allot. Oh the reasons why I love him.
Suddenly, I remember I was suppose to meet Scooter for a meeting. "Oh, shoot!" I sighed moments after I said that. I jump off the couch, grab my bags, slips on my 5" heels and practically ran out the door.
I hop in the car, and drive myself to Scooter's head office. As I arrive, I notice Isaac and Jones standing at the door, waiting for me. I pull up into the closest parking spot, get out and carefully run into his office.
I slowly walk around without any knowledge about what's going on. "Ariana.." I hear come from one of his rooms. I'm so confused on what's going on..
I slowly approach the room Scooter is calling me from. "Yes?" I ask with a soft smile. In the corner of my eye, I spot Nathan Sykes from 'The Wanted'. I turn my body to face Nathan, in shock.
Nathan? Nathan Sykes? I question myself.
The next thing I know, he's running up to me for a hug. It's in my contract, so I gently hug him back.
Okay, so here's the deal, we briefly met a few years ago. Our eyes locked, but we didn't have the chance to get to know each other. I, was also dating Jai then.
After I pull away from the hug, I slowly turn to Scooter with a lost face. "Ariana! So, Nathan sent me this great idea to make 'Almost Is Never Enough' a duet. We recorded his part, and merged it with yours. Wanna take a listen?" he asks me with a serious face.
As much as I would honestly love to, because Nathan has such a powerful voice, I really don't want to work with him because Jai might think we have something going on.
I just have to nod my head, and Scooter let's me take a listen. This is truly amazing, I love it! I smile as I said that to Scooter.
Seeing Nathan smile is adorable. He's adorable. I mean, what? No, this can't be happening.
I storm as fast I can out of his office, get in my car and drive away. Jones tries to run after me, but I was already gone. He walks back in looking confused at the crew. "She just took off?" He lets out a small sigh, as they all exchange confused looks.
