"Oh come on babe," you sighed. "I don't like this anymore than you do, but I can't just stop this."
You and Baron were arguing again about your romantic storyline with the infamous playboy of the WWE, Dolph Ziggler. Granted, you had nothing against Dolph, you just didn't like how he had a thing with some of the women in the Division.
Baron didn't like it either.
Yes, it's all scripted, but it annoys Baron to no end when he sees Dolph put his arm around you and kiss your cheek in front of the entire WWE Universe.
"I understand that (Y/N)," he said. "That doesn't mean I can accept it."
You dropped onto the bench in his locker room with a sigh. "I don't want to accept it either baby, but this comes with the territory."
"(Y/N) and Dolph to the entrance. (Y/N) and Dolph to the entrance."
Getting to your feet, you kissed Baron's lips and walked away. "We can talk about this later, Baron, okay?"
He didn't respond.
(Skip to your match with Carmella)
Dolph sat by the announcers table as a guest commentator during your fight with Carmella. Throughout the entirety of it, he spoke about how you always thought out your moves carefully, how your agility was of great help, etc.
You finally nailed Carmella with a running clothesline and placed her in your submission hold. She 'screamed' for a few seconds before 'regrettably' tapping out. Releasing her from your hold, you smiled as the referee took your wrist and held it up high.
Dolph slid into the ring and hugged you. "Great job, (Y/N)."
Even though you wanted your real boyfriend to be the one who hugged you, you wrapped your arms around Dolph and dealt with it.
That should have been the end of your segment.
...
Until Dolph kissed your lips.
That...
Was not part of the script.
Frozen in place, you had no idea what to do. Should you go along with it even if the script didn't call for a kiss? Should you slap him for kissing you when he knew there wasn't a scene? Should you slap him for kissing you when he knew you and Baron were together?
With all these questions, you almost didn't notice the lights go out, followed by the sound of a motorcycle revving up. What you did notice was the feeling of Dolph's lips being ripped from yours. You heard the sound of grunting, then came to understand the source when the lights came back on. In the corner of the ring by the other set of stairs, Baron was stomping his foot on Dolph's chest. You knew that Baron meant business when you felt the anger radiating off of his body. Baron flung Dolph into the center of the ring by your feet and began to land punch after punch to his face.
Five referees, followed by Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan, ran down to the ring and tried to talk sense into Baron. Baron, of course, ignored them and continued let out his rage. You weren't sure what to do; Baron needed to be stopped before he seriously hurt Dolph and got into trouble, but when he was really angry, Baron wouldn't listen to anyone.
Suddenly, in mid-punch, Baron stopped and looked at you. The anger was still there in his eyes, but it had eased up slightly. He quickly rose to his feet, barreled over to you and trapped your body between the ropes and his own.
You stared into each other's eyes, tuning out everything and everyone around you; it was only you two now, standing in the ring. There was no one else.
