"Feed. The stench, saliva educing, I must feed. No, not feed. Think, my wrists, so cold, like metal. It is metal, they're restraining me. Them. Who's 'them'? Who am I?"
"It's speaking, sir. It survived the forced evolution."
"Good. Activate lights, I want to see my creations face."
Two bright lights switched on, and the surroundings were a thing to behold. Blood stained the floor, medical tools tools lay used on small carts, and there in the center of the room, was what remained of Conner restrained to a large apparatus making sure every one of his limbs, his tail, and his head were unable to move. Conner let out an ear piercing hiss-like screech, sending a couple doctors away from their control panels out of fear.
"Good morning. According to these readings, you have higher brain functions up and running today. In other words, you can understand and process every word I'm saying right now. Cant you, Conner?"
"....my....name?" Conner asked weakly
"Correct. Do you know who I am? My name is Doctor Ethan Carver. I put you in that cell, made you what you are."
"What..am I?"
The doctor gave a proud smirk, and pressed a button on the panel, making the observation window into the cell a one way mirror. Conner saw what he was, and even though he did not know who was, he knew he was a human being. Not anymore.
