-a thing that causes disgust or hatred.
"Feed. The stench, saliva educing, I must feed. No, not feed. Think, my wrists, so cold, like metal. It is metal, they're restraining me. Them. Who's 'them'? Who am I?"
"It's speaking, sir. It survived the forced evolution."
"Good. Activate lights, I want to see my creations face."
Two bright lights switched on, and the surroundings were a thing to behold. Blood stained the floor, medical tools tools lay used on small carts, and there in the center of the room, was what remained of Conner restrained to a large apparatus making sure every one of his limbs, his tail, and his head were unable to move. Conner let out an ear piercing hiss-like screech, sending a couple doctors away from their control panels out of fear.
"Good morning. According to these readings, you have higher brain functions up and running today. In other words, you can understand and process every word I'm saying right now. Cant you, Conner?"
"....my....name?" Conner asked weakly
"Correct. Do you know who I am? My name is Doctor Ethan Carver. I put you in that cell, made you what you are."
"What..am I?"
The doctor gave a proud smirk, and pressed a button on the panel, making the observation window in the cell into a one way mirror. Conner saw what he was, and even though he did not know who was, he knew he was a human being. Not anymore. His skin was pale as bone, and felt just as hard as bone. His nails were talons, his teeth were razor sharp and nearly metallic. He saw what seemed to be a tail coming from his back, which ended in a foot long blade. Conner gave out a loud roar in anger.
"Your new form is a thing of beauty, do not be angry."
Conner continued to scream relentlessly. To stop him, the doctor pushed another button, on the panel, electrocuting Conner.
"You are now the property of the Wayland Yutani corporation effective three weeks ago. You along with the other 49 people who were here along with you. Many of them died, their genetic structure and will to live both too weak and the forced evolution process killed them. As for the rest, well, let's say all that's left of them is splattered on the walls and floor of your cell. Possibly some bits are lift between your teeth."
Conner felt the restraints disconnect from their locks, and his body slipped right out of the steel prison, and it sunk into the floor.
"You seem hungry, Conner. You should be, we starved you for over four days. Would you like someone to eat?"
"Some...one?"
"You heard correctly. You will not be eating dead cows or pigs while in our care. No, you will dispose of problem employees for us."
Two large metal doors in the back of the room opened and two voices were heard. One was cold, inhuman, unthinking, mechanical. Another stuttered, afraid for its life. Conner heard that ones blood rush through its veins, its heart beating tremendously fast. That one was his food.
"W-what am I doing here? I can pay for the damages, I swear, just please don't do this!"
"As of clause 33-B787, any Wayland Yutani employee guilty of destruction of property is subject to any punishment decided by Wayland Yutani higher ups." and it shoved the terrified employee into the cell and sealed the door. The stench returned, and Conner became more and more famished. His thoughts kept racing.
"That's a person, who could I even think of this? Why would I even consider this? I'm so hungry. He's a person, with a life and maybe even a family. I will splatter his blood on these walls. I could never eat a man let alone kill him. His heart will be the appetizer." He didn't even realize, the man was already in his grip. As if his thoughts and actions were separated, the shuttering man was already pinned to the floor by Conner, who saliva dripped all over his face. He looked down at the mans breast pocket, and a picture of a young man in a baseball uniform protruded from it. He pointed to the picture.
"S....son. Son? Your....son?"
"Yes! Yes that's my son and he needs his dad! Please just let me see my son again!"
Conner was still pointing at the picture. His talon got closer and closer to the picture, and his kept moving his talon closer and closer.
"Son. Son. Your son. Man's...man. Man....human. Human meat, meat, meat. MEAT!"
Conner pierced his victims stomach with his razor sharp tail and he tore through the helpless mans chest, consuming his heart, tearing the meat from his ribs, swallowing the stomach whole. Five minutes passed, and Conner made short work of him. There was no more than a pile of assorted bones and miscellaneous flesh stacked in the corner of the room.
"Was the good, Conner?" The Doctor asked, antagonizing him. Conner remained silent, and continued to rip and tear at the chunks of gore.
"Would you like more? I'm sure we have more victims for you, my little killing machine." With almost blinding speed, Conner rushed the observation window and gave a blood chilling hiss, showing he wasn't happy with the doctors comments.
"Feisty, just how we need you. But not toward your superiors." and with that, the Doctor pushed a button on the command console, the floor in the cell became electrified, sending an immensely painful shock through Conner. He screamed in pain and collapsed when the shock ceased.
"I am your creator, your master. You heed my commands, and respect my being. I own you." The doctor declared.
"...Yes." Conner said weakly.
"'Yes' what?"
"Yes. Master."
The doctor gave a sinister grin and said "Good job, my pet."
