Lies Of Omission

Third Person Pov

"My asthma is back." Scott says "I'm not sure how, but it came back." He walks down the hallway "Just as bad as it used to be. So now I keep my inhaler on me all the time. Just like I used to." He says "It's been five days. We haven't seen any new Chimeras, and we haven't seen the Dread Doctors." He continues walking down the hallway looking down at the ground "We all go to school, pretending like nothing's happened. But everyone seems to know." Scott looks around and he says people looking at him "You just walk down the halls and no one's smiling. No one's laughing. You get the feeling everyone can sense that something's coming. They just don't know what it is, or how bad it's going to be." He looks down at the ground "Every time I feel like I should do something about it, I find myself reaching for my inhaler." Scott grabs his inhaler "Like, I'm going to take a hit of it and, and come up with some brilliant solution on how to save everyone. But I don't know what to do." He puts his inhaler away "I don't think anyone does. Maybe that's why no one's really talking to each other. Sometimes we don't even notice each other." Malia is walking with her head down and so is Stiles while he is walking behind her "But I think some of us are okay with that." Scott says "Because not talking makes it easier to keep secrets." Malia is class and looks at the photos of the killings that the Desert Wolf has done. "And I don't know if anyone's really lying about things." Stiles is sitting on his bed, then he tries to have a look at his shoulder and the bite mark is really bad. "Maybe it's more like lies of omission." Scott says "Maybe the worst lie is to Stilinski. Because no one told him about Parrish yet." Sheriff Stilinski walks into his office and Parrish looks at the letter and it says Try Not To Lose This One "Then again, no one's told Parrish either. He doesn't seem to remember taking the bodies." Parrish looks confused but carries on working "And we think that he's only dangerous if you try to get in his way. If Stilinski knew the truth, he'd definitely get in his way. So Lydia and Stiles are trying to find the bodies, which means finding the Nemeton. They're driving around, searching all of the woods." Scott explains while Lydia and Stiles are looking around. "But the last time that we found this thing, three of us had almost drowned in ice water" Scott, Stiles and Allison, go down under the water. In the Police Department everyone is in a meeting "We're not the only looking for Chimeras..." Scott says "Silinski's got everyone looking for the next target." Sheriff Silisnki is explaining to everyone in the meeting. "Questioning anyone who's a ginectic Chimera. Anyone who's got two sets of DNA. And no one really knows what they're looking for."Clark looks at the paper on the paper clip board "Some think it's a serial killer. Some probably know it's worse." Clark looks down on the list and sees her sisters name Hayden Romero "The three Chimeras that we know about, Hayden, Hannah and Corey..." Clark looks at it not believing it, then she continues on with what she was doing. Hayden and Liam are on top of the stairs "They're both doing okay." Scott says referring to Hayden and Corey. Liam checks her cut and sees that it has healed "Actually better than okay." Hannah and Brett are at the field sitting on the benches and Brett looks at her stomach and sees that it has healed quickly as well, she looks up at him and smiles, so does Brett "They're healing fast and getting stronger." Corey walks out of class "They don't need our help." Corey looks at Scott, and Scott looks at him and Corey just walks away looking like nothing had happened. Scott looks down "And I don't think they'd want it anyway. I still haven't heard from Kira." Scott is at his workplace and puts up a note saying CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE "And I'm getting more and more worried about Deaton." He walks away.

Scott's Pov

"I know something's coming. And all I can think about is how good am I going to be if I can't even breathe?" I question myself and put down my inhaler on the table and look up at Theo "You sound like you're trying to apologize." He says "You came back looking for an Alpha. I guess I'm sorry that you found me." I say to him feeling sorry that he found me "I'm not sorry." He says "You still want to be apart of the pack?" I asked surprised "Scott, I'm with you. For better or for worse." He says comforting me "Trust me. There's gonna be worse." I say to him and he looks up at me "I'm counting on it." He says while smiling.
