Chapter 4: Love Stealer
Your POV:
It was a typical day, classes, homework, and annoyance. The only thing that was actually exciting was what comes after all these classes. The tourney game. And as much as I'd love to just sit and watch, I need to wear some girly crap and cheer my lungs out.
I was heading to the fields with Raven who had a grin wider than the Cheshire Cat's. What's her deal?
Once we got to the field she suddenly called for everyone. Which is weird because she hated people. She started giving everyone cookies before running off towards Carlos and gave him one too. He smiled at her then ate it. They talked for a bit before Carlos suddenly hugged her then left for the game. Since when were they close? Raven ran towards me and handed me a cookie before heading off to our place. I ate the cookie and the cheer started.
Carlos was on fire. He had been playing the ball like it was a part of him. As I promised him, I cheered for him. Once the game was over, our team won and it was crazy. Carlos suddenly took the mic from the announcer and of course I thought he was going to ask me out. But something else happened.
"Raven! I love you! Will you be my girlfriend?" He yelled. Raven gasped next to me and squealed yes.
Wait. Hold up. What?
Carlos ran towards us, well, towards Raven, and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Red and Jake ran towards us and they looked just as confused as me. "What was that?" Red asked. "What was what?" Raven asked with an innocent smile. "Why'd he ask you out? He was supposed to ask Y/N out!" Jake nearly yelled. "Okay let me explain." Raven started. "Carlos helped me out last night with my math assignment. We kind of hanged out and I don't know. He kinda likes me?" She stated. "I'm not buying that bullshit, Raven!" I yelled. Carlos ran back towards her and dragged her away. "Y/N you shouldn't yell at my girl." Carlos warned before finally turning his back on us. Jay walked over towards me and linked arms with me. I eyed him awkwardly and he seemed pretty pissed. "Two can play that game." He hissed while glaring over at Carlos' direction. "So what's your plan, big guy?" I asked him, ignoring my two friends. "Let's make them jealous." He replied.
Not a bad plan. But it's kinda low. Whatever.
"This is going to be a huge mess." Mal said to Jake. "Agreed." Jake replied. The four left as Jay and I followed Raven and Carlos.
They were seated on the grass while playing with Dude. Jay and I hid behind a bush. "How can Carlos suddenly like her? I've never seen them talk before!" I whispered to Jay. Then it hit me. The cookies! "Oh I should have known! She spelled him!" I exclaimed. Jay looked at me, puzzled. "Why would she do that?" He asked. "She likes messing with people's feelings." I replied. "Explains it. Scratch the jealous plan then. Let's make an anti love potion."Jay and I started making an anti love potion. Which in my case, was a perfume. You have to spray it on the person who used the love spell and bam! The victim realizes he was spelled. One last ingredient, tears of the spell user. Wait. Raven doesn't cry! Great.
Well it doesn't say it has to be a tear of pain or sorrow. Any tear would do!
"I'll be right back." I told Jay as he stayed put on his chair. I ran out only to bump onto Raven. "Oh hey." She greeted awkwardly. I didn't waste any time and punched her nose. It started bleeding and her eyes watered and a single tear dropped. I quickly wiped it and dropped it into the perfume bottle. "What was that for?!" She yelled while holding her nose. "That's for stealing Carlos! And this." I sprayed the perfume on her. "Is because you stink!" I got back to Jay and he gave me a fist bump. "I heard everything and damn girl!" He laughed. "Let's just wait for Carlos to be conscious." I said and Jay nodded in agreement.
