Last night I came home right before my curfew(My dad didn't think of that, Reeve did) and Reeve was waiting for me in the living room while doing his homework.

He asked me if I was hungry but I shook my head and told him that I'd be in my room if he needs me.

And now, I'm looking beside me cause I was woken up by this living being sleeping beside me.

Reeve slept next to me last night!!! I tried to wiggle out of his hold but whenever I do, his hold around me tightens, and he nuzzles more into my neck.

How come I didn't feel that he slep next to me?

(Conscience: Cause you're a heavy sleeper, and even if your house get's robbed yiu won't even notice)

Ohh shut up! The body beside me groans and turns to the right side of the bed and when I looked at the clock, it was almost lunch time.

I wake him up and once he did, I grab my towel.

"Reeve hurry up, we're so late, we might even be marked as absent" I say entering the bath room and once he looks at the clock he started moving fast.

After taking a really fast bath, I didn't even bother brushing my hair. I grab my bag, and went out my room the same time as Reeve.

"A, sorry for sleeping ne--" I cut him off.

"That isn't important as of now, we need to go" I say running towards the garagenand he does the same. On the way to school I tie my hair into a pony tail and didn't even bother getting off his car when we reached the bus stop.

I grab my bag and swiftly made my way through school ignoring the looks from the student's who saw me move out of Reeve's car.

Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! I've never been this late, this is my second detention then.

"A, wait" Reeve says catching up to me,he shrugs his jacket off and hands it to me with his cheeks flushed.

"What do you want me to do with your jacket?" I pause and whisper "You are aware that were in an open space where everyone can see us" he nods and he walks near me and whispers something to me that makes me flush amd turn crimson.

"Red Tide" red tide, two plain words but with a really embarrasing meaning, I was utterly embarrased and just grabbed his jacket and tied it to my waist.

The murmurs from the crowd was heard, some were questioning why he gave me his jacket, and some faint voices whisper rude names.

I just walk away to the locker rooms and grab my Gym Clothes to change into them.

This is the most humiliating thing that has ever happened to me!!!

●● REEVE'S POV ●●
I'm in Math and luckily I wasn't marked absent, seated at the seat near the window, somehow I couldn't focus on the lesson.

My mind just keeps on remembering what I did last night, I don't understand it.

Yesterday I was occupied and not focused while on practice, and coach postponed practive just to talk to me.

He says that he was worried about me, he even asked if I was feeling well, even my team mates noticed that something was off.

When Aer, texted me about being with Silver, something in me just twists but I don't know what that is.

And even on the way home, I've been too occupied that I haven't realized that I already caused traffic.

And when I tried to study, I can't help but think how their time together is going.

Ughhh what is wrong with me!!

I've been taken out of my thoughts when Nate Perkins(my friend and rugby team mate) nudged me. That caught my attention.

The Principal was speaking through the school's intercom.

"Good Afternoon to all the students of Dervanna Academy, as all of you know, winter break is coming soon" she pauses for a while leaving us intrigued then continues on the announcement; "And the school board has decided, Two weeks from now, we will be having our annual Winter Formal for our beloved graduating students that will be themed 'MASQUERADE NIGHT'" The students in the class started murmuring about the said announcement with excitement.

"You are allowed to invite someone to be your date for the special night, and just a reminder to graduating students," she pauses; "You can't participate in the event if you have no date, Thank you my dear students, have a nice day" and the announcement was the talk of our class, and every other class in our grade, I wonder if Aer would participate, not that I'm looking forward to the dance, I'm not even sure if I would come.

"Dude, you better come to the dance. Can you imagine, girls fawning all over us" Pierre Pellettier, my friend and also rugby team mate, says with star like eyes, is that even possible, and Nate chimes in unison with Pierre "HEAVEN!!"

"As if our species would do such a thing, perverts!" Ashley Black says, she's one of Aer's friends, she believes that females are way superior than males but in some weird way I think she's infatuated with Nate. 

"Girl's do everything males say, and the perfect example for that is Patricia, right Reeve" By he mention of Patricia's name unintentionally I look at Aer's direction, she was looking at me but she looked away, I just nodded at what Pierre said. They were still going on female and male superiority.

At the end of the day, Nate invites Ashley to be his date, and since Ashley was clearly looking forward to going to the dance she said yes, but I wasn't sure if that was the only reason on why she agreed. At the other hand Pierre invited Charm and she politely said no and said she was busy on that night, and I'm sure Pierre is going to have a hard time on making her say yes, And me, I haven't asked anyone yet, but tons of girls have asked me, but my answer to all of them were just the same, No.

"You girls should know your place, everyone knows that I'm Reeve's date for the winter formal" I hear Patricia say to our classmates, I went near her and smiled at the girls.

"Actually I don't think I would be going with anyone, I haven't decided if I would go to the winter formal" I say as I sneak an eye at Aer but she was talking to somebody, and that somebody was Silver, what is going on between them. I look back at the girls and Patricia's arrogant expression dropped. 

"Well I'll see you guys tomorrow" I say and waved at them as I got out the class room and heard a bit of Aer and Silver's conversation. They started walking, and Aer's head was looking down as she passed by me, something in me wanted to figure out what they were talking about.

Silver leads her behind the gym by the old fountain, what was he going to say that he had to bring her here.

"Aeriam" Silver's voice was near a whisper when he mentioned her name but quiet enough for me to hear.

"What do you want from me Silver, I'm busy. I have loads to do so start what you want to say" Scary.. I didn't think that girls with their period were really moody, I thought it was just something made up. He scratches the back of his neck and his  adams apple bobs up and down. He was nervous, what does he want to talk about anyway.

"I just wanted to know if you were going to the dance?" Aer's brow rose up; "That doesn't concern you, and what do you care?!" his hands circled to a fist and his cheeks flushed. Is there a chance that he likes Aer?

"Oh right you can't, you don't have a date" he fake laughs, what is wrong with Silver, his head bobs up and he fakes smile. Aer glares at him, "You take me to the most sacred part of the school and then you make fun of me, real mature Silver!!" Aer yells at him and walks away . Once she was away I heard him laugh but somehow it sounded really fake.

"It's better to have  you mad at me than you straight out rejecting me" he says while his hands are shoved deep into his uniform's pockets. He looks up the sky and says, "Reeve, " he pauses and that's where he smiled and whispered, loud enough for me to hear. "You're one lucky guy, you just don't know it" he says and walk away, leaving me looking at his back.

I don't know what he means by that, but someday, I know I will understand.
