Mr. Perfect's Wife

○○ REEVE'S POV ○○
The ride is over and Aeriam ended up crying, she blamed me because I didn't warn her that it would be scary and in my defense I asked her if she was sure on riding that ride, it wasn't that bad though.

She was over reacting. As of now she's done crying and we are eating lunch in a nearby food stall. We are eating chicken fingers, nuggets and french fries(her usual order in any fast food chain). Actually she's one doing most of the eating, I'm just watching her while eating my burger.

She looks up at me and her cheeks turned crimson.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I smile and reminisce when I first saw her at the cafeteria during our freshman year, she was stuffing her face with fries and cheese sticks.

She snaps her fingers in front of me.

"Reeve, hey. Let's go, aren't you done eating" she says and pulls me out of my seat once she saw that I was finished with my burger.

"So can I pick the ride next?" I ask, she nods and I look around until I spot a perfect ride, it's called anchors away.

"There" I point and pull her towards it. While waiting in line two girls approach us while giggling.

"Umm can we ride with you?" Girl #1 asks. I smile at them and I was about to say sure but then A, butts in.

"Umm no, can't you see that he already has a ride buddy, so go away" A hisses at them. The second girl raised her brow and looked at her with a menacing look.

"We weren't talking to you so step off sister" A laughs at them and say; "Are you two sure that I'm the one to step off, you don't know me"

Girl #1 crosses her arms in front of her chest and says; "We don't care what you say, all we need is this guy's answer if we can ride with him" when she looks at me her expression changes to a smile. I smile back and I wrapped an arm around A's waist and pulled her closer to me.

"Sorry girls, but I'm pretty sure that you can see that I already have a ride buddy" I say.

"Well who is she?!" Girl #2 asks. I was about to answer but A answered for me while showing her left hand at them.

"I'm his wife" and that's when I realize that she was wearing our wedding ring, the girls stomp off with defeated and angered looks.

"Your feisty" I comment. She looks at me and smiles.

"Why thank you, I am honored" the operator opens the gate and seats us at the last row of the ride.

I look at her left hand which I am now holdning and ask; "Do you have our wedding ring with you at all times?" She laughs at me then says.

"No, it just happens that I wore it today" she says.

"Well I wear it all the time" her face scrunches and checks my hands.

"No you don't" she says, so I pull something from inside my shirt. I replaced the charm on my dog tag with our wedding ring.

"You replaced your dog tag" she says amazed that she hasn't noticed that yet. I nod and at the same time the operator announced that the ride was about to start.

As it goes higher and higher I suddenly tighten my grip on her hand making her look my way, and she smiles and throws our arms up in the air.

I don't regret marrying her even though it's for our parents's company. She doesn't fail to make me smile and that's all I need to be happy.

○○ AERIAM'S POV ○○
It's 10 minutes to 11 pm and we're still at the carnival, he said that we should ride one last ride before going home since there's school tomorrow.

He pulls me into a ferris wheel pod and said that we should spend our 10 minutes before leaving.

There were fireworks and everything is amazing. It felt like a dream come true, better check that off my bucket list.

When we where at the very top of the wheel he took out his camera and snap two pictures of the both of us.

He gave me a copy and I looked at it, we looked like we were a real couple everything felt so real.

Everything felt so perfect until his phone rang. It was his ex-girlfriend, Patricia.

She acts sweet in front of every one but deep inside she's a cruel witch. She used to bully me back in middle school, until one faithful day it stopped and I just heard the news that she was going out with my mega crush Nate.

I used to really really like him, but when I stepped into Highschool all my feelings were gone.

She broke up with Nate a week after I heard the news that they were dating. She used him to gain popularity then she tackled Reeve too but Reeve broke up with her in front of the quad where everyone can see, but back to reality.

He turned the call to loud speaker.

"Hello Pat?"

"Hey baby, you haven't been returning my calls and texts" I roll my eyes at that.

"Pat, we're not even together anymore" I took the phone from his hand and try to turn my voice into a higher pitch.

"Uhh excuse me, is this Pat, your Reeve's stupid excuse for an ex-girlfriend right?" Reeve laughs softly at what I said but I think she took it the wrong way.

"Hello? Who is this?"

"Ohh, I'm his girlfriend, so if you still have dignity left for yourself, stop texting and calling my boyfriend" I say and hung up on her.

"So I'm your boyfriend now" Reeve teases me. I bumped his shoulder slightly as we get off the ride.

When we arrive at our house I said.

"Nope, your my husband" I think he didn't understand what I said so I explained.

"You teased me earlier remember, you said something along the lines of 'I'm your boyfriend huh?' So I said No you're my husband" he just laughs and pulls me into a hug and kisses my forehead before bidding me goodnight

I just smile while looking at his form that's going up the stairs.

This is the best day ever.
