The Funeral

The next day Elana woke up and got an e-mail from two days ago.The e-mail read August 14 2016 funeral of Zanaya Dalton Cullen it was probably sent from her dad she thought.Elana took off her blanket and got up sitting on the side of the bed."Maybe I should go alone......" Elana said to herself and stood on her feet and put on her flippers and walked to the bathroom.She came out and gathered her showering supplies then went back into the bathroom.As Elana was in the bathroom Finn woke up and heard Elana's phone ring so he answered it but they had already Jung up the call and he saw the e-mail and sighed."I'm so sorry Elana....." Finn said whispering so Elana wouldn't know he was awake.Max came in the room "Elana did yo-oh where's Elana" she asked Finn and he pointed his finger to the bathroom."Oh I see im guessing she got the e-mail too then......" Max said showing him her phone with the same exact e-mail.Finn nodded and showed her Elana's phone and got out of bed."Just tell her im going with her please and thank you" Max said then walked back out the door.Elana came out of the bathroom and saw Finn up "Oh uh...I dont think I can stay ho-" "I'm going with you" Finn said interrupting her sentence.Elana was shocked then frowned "I...I just wanna go alone please...." Finn walked to Elana and got on his knees and bowed "Please.....may I come...." he sat there on the hardwood floor begging.Elana lifted him up using all her strength "Fine.......I guess" she said as she grabbed her clothes.After she had all her clothes she went back into the bathroom and put on her clothes.She walked out seeing Max wearing complete black and knew exactly why "You were invited weren't you....." Elana asked.

Max nodded then showed her the e-mail Elana sighed."Well I can't say no im guessing this is a wolf pack situation....." Elana started to cry a little."I'm sorry if that sounded stupid I know its a wolf pack situation but I just can't think straight I guess...." Elana said slightly frowning.Max hugged Elana "It's ok....." Elana wiped her tears "I will go start the car....um ask Finn if he's almost done please" Elana asked.Max nodded and knocked on the bathroom door as Elana went outside and started the car."Hey Finn you almost done" Max asked then Finn came out trying to tie his tie."Need help?.." Max said as he walked over to him moving his hands.Finn looked at Max thinking about if he should tell her or not he decided just to tell her."Hey Max..." Finn said quitely and quickly Max looked up at him as she finished tieing it and sat on the bed."Hm?....what is it" Max said as she was kicking her feet back and forth.Finn took a long deep breath "My Dad....he uhh had something to do with Zanaya's death " Max looked at him confused."My dad apparently messed with the limo.......It wasn't what I intended ...it just HAPPENED" Finn said before falling to his knees crying."WHAT!? HOW? WHY?" Max said angrily while jumping up off the bed."I have to warn Elana!...." Max said as she ran out the door right before she could Finn grabbed her arm."YOU CANT SHE'LL KILL ME PLEASE I DONT WANNA LOSE HER..." Max stopped and sighed."I cant just not let her know though...you know this" Finn stood up and said "I know but please I can't lose Elana she is all I have..".Max sighed "Fine let's get to the car before she thinks something happened....." Max and Finn walked out to the car.

Elana was driving and they arrived at the ceremony they all got out the car."Oh Max can you get flowers please?....I wasn't thinking right again I forgot about the flowers" Max nodded.Max kneeled and touched the grass as flowers grew across the field and it began to become sunny."Here...I might have went a little to far though..." Elana smiled and picked a purple flower.They walked to the pack as they all moved aside for Elana and bowed to her feet"Uh...Please rise there is no need to kneel.." Elana announced.They all rose to their feet and focused on the casket.Elana walked to the open casket and saw her mom lying there.Elana put the flower on her mom's chest then moved her hands back on top of the flower.Elana looked back towards everyone and began a speech."Zanaya was a leader, a friend, and a wonderful mother she wanted nothing but the best for everyone she cared about....".Elana was done speaking and noticed it was night and the full moon was out and howled.Everyone joined her and began howling out to the moon Elana stopped and looked at everyone howling.Elana smiled "You were a great leader mother......I won't let you down....".
