I was off to my bestfriend Halseys house. Usually when she invites me over it means she has a new song. I was curious. On the way I grabbed some coffee for her & I
*At Halseys House*
"IM HERE" I shouted as I jogged up the stairs trying hard not to spill her coffee
"Hey. Gimme" she replied, referring to her drink as I walked in her room
"What do you have in store for me today" I asked wondering what my best friend had up her sleeve.
"Nothing much" she replied quietly sipping her coffee
I knew that she was still thinking of moving to California. I started to think hard but was interrupted by her speech,
"Well I do have a new song" she said in an upbeat tone. "It's called Ghost"
*after Halsey sings ghost to Caroline*
"Wow" I said in shock
"What?" She had a confused look on her face.
"That's my favorite you've ever written"
We hung out a little longer before realizing we had to study for exams. I left because I needed to get home. I hopped in my car gulping the rest of my coffee
