NORMAL POV:

Kakatapos lang ng meeting ni Lance with Mr. Ignacius Sandoval patungkol dun sa pinaplano nitong pagpapakasal for his 25th wedding anniversary with his wife, Madame Anastasia Sandoval. These couple is one his biggest investors for the past years. These partnership started even before Lance’s parent’s died. They are known for their kind hearts and generosity. Medyo marami-rami na rin silang institusyon na sinusuportahan tulad na lang ng Bantay Bata 163 at Gawad Kalinga (A/N: imagination lang po ni Author yan. Wag sana kayong maniwala). Mahilig rin naman ang ginang sa mga charity kaya talagang marami silang natutulungan na tao.

FLASHBACK:

Matapos magpahinga ni Lance ay iniayos niya ang kanyang magulong buhok at gusot-gusot na business suit. Tumayo siya mula sa kanyang swivel chair at inihanda ang kanyang handbag. Inilagay niya ng ilang mga papeles dito na galing sa kanyang secretary. Dinala rin niya ang kanyang laptop dahil nandun ang kanyang business proposal para kay Mr. Sandoval.

Lumabas siya mula sa kanyang opisina at pinuntahan ang table ni Jennicka na di kalayuan mula rito. Huminto si Lance sa table ni Jennicka.

“Ms. Reyes, where will I be meeting Mr. Sandoval?” tanong nito sa kanyang sekretarya.

Kinuha ni Jennicka ang kanyang iPad at nagscan. Maya-maya pa ay sumagot rin ito sa kanya at tumayo.

“You will be meeting him at the Leinster Restaurant,” sagot nito sa kanya.

Kumunot aang noo ni Lance ng bahagya. Hindi kasi ito pamilyar sa restaurant na yun.

“Okay. Thank you for the Information, Ms. Reyes,” sabi nito.

Then, he left his secretary’s table and walk straight the hall. Medyo malayu-layo kase ito sa elevator. A few moments passed at sa wakas at narating na rin niya ang elevator. Bumukas iyon at pumasok na siya. Pinindot niya ang basement. Private ang elevator na yun at hindi na nakapagtataka kung wala siya kasabay dito. That elevator is just for him dahil ayaw niyang may magulo.

Tiiing…(A/N: sound effects po yun)

Bumukas na ang elevator at pumunta siya sa kanyang sariling parking space. Nang marating niya ang kanyang sasakyan ay agad niya itong binuksan.

LANCE’s POV:

After I close the door of my car, I turned on the ignition and started drivingmy car palabas ng hotel building. Shit. Di ko pa pala alam kung pano pumunta sa restaurant nay un. Ugh, badtrip naman oh. C’mon, what’s the use of the navigator kundi ko naman gagamitin diba?Tsk.

I typed the name of the restaurant on the navigator and started driving again. It’s quite a distance huh?

I picked up my phone to answer the call, and then placed the wireless earpiece on my right ear.

“Hello,” me

“Hey babe, are you free for tonight?” said the person on the other line. I don’t recognize her voice. Sino naman kaya to?

“Honey, I forgot to save your phone number. May I know who am I talking to right now?” what? She started calling me babe so I’ll call her honey ‘smirks’. To be honest, I have two phones, one for work and one for my personal use. The phone this woman is calling to is my work phone.work phone.

“C’mon babe. You can’t just ignore me like this,” I have a feeling that this woman I am currently talking to right now is pouting. How cute.

“Look, I don’t know you so please just say your name,” sabi ko. Nakakairita rin kasi tong mga kagaya niya. One word: BITCH.

“It’s me Pamela. We just spent a night the other day, you know,” ahh..okay. Siya pala yung kasama ko nang gabing yun. Pasensya naman. Di ko kasi ugaling tandaan yung mga pangalan nila. Di ata to nakakaintindi ng one night stand. Tch. Di naman yun pure eh. Tsaka di ako ang nakauna dun.

“Look, Pamela. We’re done. You’re just one of my flings and women that I get to bed, understand?” I’m not rude kung yan ang gusto niyong sabihin. I don’t do it with women twice. Madali kasi akong magsawa tsaka she’s boring.

“HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME LANCE?!?” sigaw niya at agad na binaba yung call.

Tch. Whatever. As if may mapapala ako sa kanya.

At last, dumating na rin ako sa restaurant kung saan makikipag-meet si Mr. Sandoval. Agad akong nagpark dun sa parking space pagkatapos ay agad ring bumababa dala-dala ang aking handbag. I walked towards the restaurant at pumasok. Palinga-linga ako and I immediately spotted Mr. Sandoval in his business suit tapos ay lumapit na ako sa kanya.

“Good morning, Mr. Sandoval,” batik o dun sa matanda at napatayo ito. Inabot ko ang aking kanang kamay at nagshake hands kami.

“Have a sit, hijo,” he offered.

“What would you like, hijo?” tanong niya sa akin.

“ A cup of Americano will do, Mr. Sandoval,” tugon ko.

“C’mon hijo. We’ve been together for these past years and you are like a son to me. Just call me tito. Parang di ka naman iba sa’kin,” he said then laughed. I also laughed with this old man. A few moments later ay dumating na yung inorder namin.

“So, what are your plans Mr. – ay tito?” I started.

He raised his head after sipping his coffee. “ Gusto ko dun sa resort mo sa Tagaytay. The view there is breathtaking. I am pretty sure that Ana will love it,” sagot niya.

“okay. How about the designs? I have lots to choose from, tito,” sabi ko at agad kong kinuha yung laptop ko sa aking handbag.

“I think Ana should decide on that matter. What I want to discuss with you is the area and the bill of course. Hahahha,” sagot niya. Mukhang Masaya tong si Mr. Sandoval ngayon. Hmm.. well, good for him.

Then, pinag-usapan namin yung tungkol sa mga hesitations niya at nabigyan ko siya ng suggestions. I let him choose kung saang spot dun yung gusto niya. Pagkatapos nun ay nakapili na siya after calling his wife. Sa wakas ay natapos rin yung negotiations ko with him.

“It’s nice working with you, hijo,” sabi niya habang nagsisshake hands kami.

“The pleasure’s all mine, tito,” sagot ko at lumabas na kami after paying our bill. Nang makabalik na ako sa aking sasakyan ay tinignan ko yung relos ko. Hmm…10:20 eh? May time pa akong magdrive.

Masyadong busy talaga tong araw na to.

First, may school event kami. Hahah.. at dahil may tatapusin pa kaming tutu ay nagparegister lang kami pero di kami sumali.

Second, tinapos namin yung tutu namin na ako ang nagplano hahah. With the help of the half of our group…ang sama hahaha…may iba kasi silang assigned tasks hahahahah…maganda yung kinalabasan kasi ako yung may gawa eh hheheh..kapal talaga hahaha..
