Fighting the Dragon

As the dragon roared, a wave of fear spread towards my heart.
I ran and hid behind the bushes panting and afraid.
I closed my eyes and found myself in a white background.
Walked deeper and found a man.
"Hello." He said.
"Umm.. How did I get here?" I asked.
"This is all a dream. You are controlling it." He replied.
"Whaaa...?" I said feeling confused.
He walked to my to grab my shoulder.
"Fear is useless. Bravery is something you can't buy, but you can earn, think about it..."
His last words echoed to silence as everything faded away.
I opened my eyes and thought about it.
I thought, there is a dragon behind me.
What am I doing here?
I jumped in front of the dragon and stabbed his heart.
"Avery! What is 10²x11³?!"
I found myself in the classroom, all eyes were on me.
"Detention after lunch."
Lunch time came by, I sat down and ate my sandwich.
"Ugh you are SUCH a dork! Hahaha!!" Priscilla teased me.
Beside her, was the man from before.
I didn't believe my eyes but went with it.
He looked at me smiling and slowly faded away.
I looked back at Priscilla and said,
"I'm not afraid of you."
