Sixteen: hope

It's been 2 weeks. 2 damn weeks since Dylan left. He hasn't called me or anyone not even Jason. I would at least thought wait never mind because Dylan is a heartless man. A sorry excuse for a man. He leaves all the time and I always have the door wide open for him but this time! This time I'm gonna lock that god damn door.

I cried myself to sleep that night because I said I loved him. I do and I acted like it was no big deal but that's not why he left. He left because I didn't tell him who Samuel is and I'm still not gonna tell him who he is. It's my personal issue. We all have secrets and that's a big one.

I'm always home alone expect the weekends. John takes J.C to school everyday and that got me thinking. John said that we can't do anything about the mission because Dylan used a leave. Plus the snows haven't called at all so I think we're good. I'm gonna start being a mom. Yeah that's what I'm gonna do. I know that Jason goes to an all boy school of all ages so I might get a man.

"Good morning Miss. Alexis." John says coming Into the kitchen. "Hello Mr. Ross." I say pouring a cup of green tea for him. "Thank you." He says and I give him a smile. "I'm ready! I'm ready! Don't leave without me." J.C yells running Into the kitchen. "Sorry Mr. Ross I got up late. I had a rough night. We watched scary movies." J.C adds while grabbing johns hand and leading him to the door. It makes me and John burst out in laughter. "Bye mom love you." He says than walks out the door and John waves. "Love you too." I yell back knowing he heard me.

It's been a couple hours. I go upstairs and get a quick shower than decided to watch some tv. There's a knock at the door. I wonder who that is. We don't I mean I don't know anyone around here. I get up and open the door to Madison.

"Mrs. Snow?" I asked confused and a little nervous because she's not supposed to know where I live. "Hello Alexa how are you." She asks and I let her in. "I'm good would you like anytime drink?" I ask going into the kitchen. "No I'm alright I actually came here to talk to you." She says sitting down at the counter.

"Oh ok. What's wrong?"
"Me and my husband donate money to an all boys school and I happen to see your boy."
"Yes he does go to that school."
"The man he was with which I'm guessing is his grandfather."
"Uh yeah that's my dad."
"Well I talked to him and he told me about what happened between you and Dylan. It's a terrible thing that he just got up and left."
"Yeah it is."
"I want you and Jason to live with me for awhile. I dot. Want you two to be here all alone."

I think about that offer and i have to agree because John gave her my address for a reason. For me to agree to her offer. "That will actually be good for us. A new environment for awhile." I say smiling. "Oh that's perfect. Come on let's go." She says standing up and holding out her hand. "What about our stuff." I ask grabbing her hand. "Oh darling I already have everything set up and Jason will be already at my house when we get there." She says as we walk out the door.

We walk into the mansion and I hear little foot steps towards me. I look down to see J.C running to me so I pick him up. "Mom isn't grandmas house huge." He was waving his hands in the air. I look over to Madison. "I was gonna ask you of course if it was alright if he-" I cut her off with a smile. "It's alright Maddie." I says and she smiles back while holding her hands out to hold J.C.

"Okay this is you guys room. J.C said that you two always sleep together." She said opening the door to the guest room."it amazing." J.C says running tot he bed and jumping on it making us laugh. "Thank you Maddie." I say then hug her. "Your welcome. I'll let you two settle in and a maid will come up and tell you when dinner is ready." She says and I nod in response. She closed the door and I walk over to the bed and lay down. J.C cuddles into me and we fall asleep.
